Think About The Goal Of Your Book
A book isn’t just something you publish once and hope people buy. It’s a digital asset. I’ve used books to generate over $100K in passive income through Amazon, but that’s only one way to use them. A book can also elevate your business, increase your authority, and instantly boost your credibility. I’ve seen so many coaches do this well—using a low-cost book as a lead generator that naturally moves readers into higher-ticket offers, programs, or 1:1 work. The mistake I see most people make is jumping straight to “what should I write about?” without getting clear on why they’re publishing in the first place. When you know your goal and purpose, you can be strategic from the start: - Is this book meant to generate passive income? - Is it meant to attract ideal clients? - Is it meant to warm up leads before a higher-ticket offer? - Is it meant to position you as the expert in your niche? The goal you choose shapes everything—your topic, format, length, pricing, and how you market it. So before you think about chapters or titles, start here 👇What do you want a book to do for you?

@Krista Brea I'm curious what you'd recommend doing with books that don't fit your business? I wrote a book back in grad school that has nothing to do with my marketing business but everything to do with one of my other passions - history and sense of place. Any thoughts on how to leverage it even though it's not in my current field? (as for its original goal... i didn't have one. My professor thought it would be a grand idea lol.)
A Little Christmas Momentum for Future Authors
As the year slows down and the noise quiets, this is your reminder that books are built in moments like this — when most people pause, but a few decide to plant seeds. Self-publishing isn’t about overnight success. It’s about choosing to create something meaningful, even when it feels small. A single idea. A rough outline. One page at a time. This season, don’t pressure yourself to “finish everything.” Instead, ask: • What idea keeps tapping me on the shoulder? • What story, message, or solution do I already carry? • What would it look like to start — not perfectly, but honestly? Books change lives. Sometimes the reader is someone across the world. Sometimes it’s you six months from now, grateful you didn’t wait. So if all you do this week is open a document, write a title, or commit to your first chapter — that counts. Momentum loves small beginnings. Here’s to quiet progress, creative courage, and setting future you up for a powerful year ahead. ✨ You don’t need permission. You just need to start. ✨ Wishing Everyone a Very Merry Kristmas 🎄 Merry Christmas!!!!

Audience: entrepreneurs using funnels to sell their program, product, or service. Problem: Low (or no) sales despite burnout from constant content creation or launches Transformation: Spot the bottlenecks and profit leaks in your funnel so that you can free up the sales flow (and earn more while doing less).

@Krista Brea yay! I’m gonna miss my self-imposed deadline of “by Christmas” but I’ll be working my butt of to have it complete in 2025!!
