🎥PART 3: FU Position with Less than $1k
So now ya know not having money didn't stop me at age 10... And it doesn't have to stop ANYONE! If you missed Part 2: ===>Here's the Rerun:-) In Part 2... I asked an IMPORTANT QUESTION. If the $5 or $10 I made from painting on the curb number was NOT the GOLD!... What WAS the GOLD? Why is it important? Because... People who struggle all their lives.... Struggle because they work for MONEY! I don't place blame on them. They TEACH/program/brainwash us to work for money in school and in society. Here's what I figured out as a young, geeky Ron Howard-looking kid. AFTER... I gave money to my mom. AFTER... I spent some on candy, walkie-talkies, and wrist rockets... I could go to the SAME PEOPLE I painted the address number for... ...and they were happy to pay for 💥OTHER STUFF I COULD TAKE OFF THEIR PLATES💥... 👉Weed pulling 👉Lawn Mowing 👉I even got to mow a cemetery for $100 a mow. (I thought I made it big!!) 👉Car washing 👉Light Carpentry stuff (but I sucked at that and had to stop.) The GOLD was the CUSTOMERS. PLEEEEEAAASSSSEEEE... Do NOT say, "I know. I know." Because MANY grown adults still don't know!! Who gets the GOLD if someone is selling on Amazon? The seller? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Amazon keeps the GOLD. Who keeps the GOLD in UBER? The poor guy or gal driving their ASS off? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo! UBER keeps the CUSTOMER! In many cases... They FORBID YOU... it's against TOS to even CONTACT the customer. That's not all. Most business owners, EVEN IF they keep the GOLD (Customer), don't do ANYTHING with the customer. And they make 1/10th the money they COULD BE MAKING.... 👉Do you know WHY? 👉HINT: It's the same BOTTLENECK I had as a kid. I didn't figure out how to remove this bottleneck until I was in my mid-THIRTIES... BY FORTY... I was a millionaire. That's HOW IMPORTANT it was and how fast I got out of the rat race. But... Again... It is too important for me to just shout out.

Most Business owners, in my experience, ONLY focus ON THE FRONT END OF THEIR BUSINESS… They are constantly looking for MORE new customers Instead of doing more for their existing customers…! Fun fact: it costs 10 times LESS to market to existing customers They are 6 to 7 times more likely to buy And will spend on average 68% more (than a new customer) Plus 10% of your customer base will spend 10 times more. Most Business owners (probably) don’t know this 😢 And if they do They don’t do anything with it… Because they are NOT thinking about their customer and how to serve them better — they’re thinking about more Business.

FU Position with Less than $1k (Part 2 of ?)
I was a broke, freckle-faced 10-year-old boy... I was the oldest of 4 kids... My mom was single... And broke too. But I didn't let that stop me. I figured out what I now call: "A Gravel to Gold Sitch" Let's come back to that... One of my "income streams" was painting curb numbers for homeowners and renters whose addresses were either faded or completely gone. I knew my "pitch" wasn't a pretty address number. It WAS not getting COLD PIZZA because the pizza guy couldn't find your address. It WAS the ambulance, police, or fire department that found their home when every SECOND COUNTS. I'd charge $5 to $10, depending on whether I painted one or two numbers for them. (some wanted the number on both sides of the entry) Now... My investment for materials... Was about $10 to get fresh stencils, paint brushes and black and white paint. (From memory, this was a few decades ago 😁) I could paint about 10-12 address numbers from my $10 investment. Which meant $50 to $60 + tips for revenue. A $10 investment with a $60 return for an afternoon in 1977 was pretty solid. A lot of men/women were not making that... This is what I call the "Gravel to Gold Sitch"... Paint and the supplies are GRAVEL. I had the PROCESS: Take the paint and turn it into address numbers so the pizza guy and emergency services could find homes fast. Once I turned the paint into an address number on a curb... I turned a little bit of paint (gravel) into (gold)... NOW... If You Think That The money Was The Gold... HUGE MISPERCEPTION Don't get me wrong... It bought Snickers bars, walkie-talkies, and other stuff when I was 10 years old... But that wasn't the GOLD REALLY. (Hang on tight for a sec.) So... Here was my big fat problem. I was a broke kid. My mom was broke. How did I get my "start-up" capital? I PRE-SOLD! I'd knock doors and when I got a "YES."... I just had them PAY ME UPFRONT... Then I'd bike it to the hardware store and buy my supplies! I still PRE-SELL most stuff to THIS DAY as a 58-year-old.

The GOLD is . . . - BTW - almost ALL businesses overlook this too… The Relationship with the CUSTOMER ! They are all buyers . . . - what ELSE do they need (what else can I sell them) now that they KNOW ME …? - Mow the grass - Do the edges - Rake the leaves - clean the pool - Walk the dog - Clean up You make more money selling to your existing customers than finding new ones.
How to Get in the FU Position with Less than $1,000
(Part one) I love the concept of FU Money… But IMO… You don’t need a mountain of money to say “Fuck You.” What’s needed is the ABILITY to create cash flow from scratch in ANY economic condition… …without any ONE person’s (or company’s) permission. It’s actually NOT NEEEEDING money to prosper that puts someone in the FU Position. Money, like air, is everywhere. If someone can’t breathe well in an oxygenated environment… It’s not an oxygen problem. It’s a lung or breathing problem. Pumping them more oxygen won’t UNFUCK their situation. In the same way, NFL players, boxers, and lotto winners often end up in chapter 7 or 11 within a few years. It’s not the money that puts one in the FU position. It’s an ABILITY… That can’t be taxed, stolen, or lost in a divorce. 💥💥💥With AI, ABILITY and less than $1,000 bucks... If someone's living expenses are less than $10k a month... It's never been simpler to get in the "beautiful position of FUCK YOU!" To quote John Goodman from his scene in The Gambler: "Somebody wants you to do something, fuck you. Boss pisses you off, fuck you!" Now... The FU Position ABILITY...is NOT... How to BUILD AI...or vibe code...or automate... That is USEFUL... But it's not THE ability that will put a Rockstar in the FU Position. It's knowing how to SELL AI without needing a mountain of money to start. How to start on a SHOESTRING...in ANY economic environment. (Sometimes the worse the economy is doing, the better.) Now... I wanna know... 👉Is acquiring this ability something that lights YOU up? You know me. I love tv. This weekend I was watching the Yellowstone spinoff: The Dutton Ranch Soooooo Gooood! Way better than Marshalls, the other spinoff. I mean, Marshalls is good, but there's no Yellowstone Vibe. Now... Here's the part I wonder if you'd be open to? While I was watching Rip and Beth move from Montana to Texas... I was also replying to DMs. ...and made a $5900 sale. Now... This was a personal sale... But... There's a way that anyone can do this for swamped business owners. (There are a LOT of swamped biz owners today.) ...and get paid 30% to 50% of the sale. $500 to $2000 commissions aren't unusual. We do this on the regular. IMO... It's even better than doing it for my own biz. Why? Because I get the commish without needing to deliver a product or service. I'm curious? I've got an explainer-type video that lays this out... I was having a chat with someone this morning who's been running into coding costs with Claude Code. Them tokens go REAL quick if you're not careful. And the money it costs is REAL. Now, I can barely spell coding. But I've built enough tools at this point... ...that I've "scrabbled" smart ways of saving time & money. I shared with him how I start with Claude CoWork first and THEN build out using Claude Code. But the truth is I start even BEFORE that with Claude Chat. If you're building something in here with A.I. like I know @Jason Eckerman's been promoting. This might save you a ton of time, energy, and tokens... AKA: cash, moola, or dineros. Plus you'll be able to help people easier. Let's dig in. ✅ #1: I start with Claude Chat Just like in Make 'Em Beg To Buy... Before diving into making an offer... You wanna UNDERSTAND... @Travis Sago Shared with me early on, "If you wanna double your income double your understanding of your prospective buyers experience..." Brainstorm the idea. Tell Claude what OUTCOME you want. Don't tell it what to "DO". When you tell it what outcome you want... Ask it what the best approach would be. After it gives you it's answer? Ask it for feedback. ~ What are the pros and cons of this approach? ~ What questions am I not asking that I should be asking? ~ What challenges are going to come up that I'm not anticipating? ~ How would you best solve these in the brainstorming phase? ~ Acting as a world class [insert expertise] what's the smartest way to approach building this in phases? You'd be surprised, when you lead with the OUTCOME you want first and let Claude brainstorm approaches, just how efficient it can be. ✅ #2: Using Claude CoWork: CoWork is where I start proofing each piece of my new solution.
