I had this realization today…
The most successful women in my programs aren’t the loudest… or the boldest… or the most extroverted. They’re the ones who aren’t afraid to be corrected. They don’t crumble when they’re coached. They don’t fold when they’re redirected. They don’t take feedback as failure. Shame slows more businesses than strategy ever will. Being coachable is a cheat code. P.S. If you're coachable and want help improving sales in your business, my mastermind is open until Monday at midnight. Comment COACH and I'll send you the application.

This is good.

Me: Welp, I’m down again. Scale says 209 from 240 and I’m so, so, so happy! This has been one of the hardest and most rewarding journeys ever! I don’t always want to be disciplined in my eating, or go to the gym, or drink my spring water like I should… or remember to eat enough protein. But I’m also committed to being in the best shape of my life—and it’s workingā€¼ļøā€¼ļøā€¼ļø And it feels sustainable because food doesn’t rule my life. I’m not always snacking or looking for food. I’m more focused, and it’s really helped my body confidence. Not only is the weight dropping, but I see a little shape coming in too. I realize now it’s from the weight lifting while also doing more cardio! But the weight loss is from the changed eating. I had to come to the realization that everything isn’t for everybody, so since I’ve started, I haven’t had a cheat meal. I don’t need it. I’ve had cheat meals the last 30 years. I’m going to give myself a few years to just be committed to ME. No cheating. Now, that doesn’t mean I can’t have anything good, but it means a little bite or taste is enough. It’s not worth the slippery slope. Plus, food is supposed to fuel us, not make us slaves to it. And as good as sugar is, it’s so dangerous. Here are some things I’ve learned from Rochelle T. Parks! 🤯 Your body craves what you give it. You don’t just like what you like—it’ll like whatever you feed it. This is so true!!! 🤯 Your body can’t always tell the difference between being thirsty and being hungry, so drink spring water first. 🤯 You can change your gut in 5 days with raw veggies only. For me, this was the most powerful reset and got rid of the cravings. Now, I did 14 days. By day 13 it was hard, but I didn’t crave fried or sugary foods after that. Game changer. And it made eating healthy easier while reincorporating food back into my diet. With exercise and mindful choices, I didn’t gain the weight back. 🤯 Also, if you eat clean, you don’t need to track calories. This nugget was helpful because I don’t have time, y’all! So I focus on living right, not tracking. I’m in a calorie deficit because of what I eat anyways, but I’m also burning a lot of calories from walking and weight lifting.

@Ashley Kirkwood 🤣🤣 I was like this is not the group.
Not gonna lie—this morning, anxiety tried to take me out.
That frantic, tight-in-your-chest, overwhelmed feeling hit hard. And what made it worse is that this season is full of good things. This weekend, I’m doing media for Woman Evolve, and I’m also hosting a private workshop in Atlanta for clients and experts. I’ll be welcoming my mastermind clients to the suite for an intimate, high-level experience. My daughter also has her Kindergarten signing day, which is the sweetest thing ever. Next weekend is just as full. There are so many good things happening, but my nervous system didn’t get the memo. Everything started to feel heavy. Instead of spiraling, I reached for the same tools I teach my clients. Inside my Academy, we have a mindset coach named Molly. She’s AI, but trust me—she is goooooood. I told her, ā€œI’m anxious. I need scriptures and affirmations to help me regulate and recenter.ā€ She gave me Psalm 94:19: ā€œWhen anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.ā€ I said it out loud—five times. And just like that, I came back to myself. This is your reminder: even the people you look up to feel overwhelmed sometimes. The difference is, we have to all have a plan to protect our peace and guard our joy. You don’t have to let anxiety rob you of what you prayed for. I’m choosing joy this weekend, and I hope you do too. šŸ’› P.S. If you’re in Atlanta Saturday join me at this event (for free) where I’m teaching you how to scale without being outside of alignment with your values: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-million-dollar-ceo-blueprinttm-registration-1544999598389?utm_experiment=test_share_listing&aff=ebdsshios

This is beautifully shared. As a mental health professional, I just want to add a few gentle insights for us all to consider. Anxiety, even in seasons of goodness, often shows up not because something is wrong—but because your nervous system is working hard to keep up with what’s right. Sometimes, joy and responsibility happening at the same time can create internal congestion. This is the paradox of ā€œgood stressā€ā€”it’s still stress. From a clinical lens, what you experienced is called anticipatory anxiety. It’s that future-focused worry that builds when you’re preparing for something important. And it doesn’t mean you’re not grateful. It means your system is alert, and may need both spiritual comfort and nervous system regulation (like breathwork, grounding, or rest). I’m so glad you have tools and support, and that the Word of God was able to regulate your Body! šŸ™šŸ¾ So love Gods Word!

@Carolyn Griffin thanks so much. For years I have looked at other ways to explain depression, anxiety etc as I also believe it is triggered by other things and affects our physical bodies too!
Hey Fam!!
Today we recorded 13 podcast episodes and it was amazing! It was a lot, but so rewarding and it’s important for me to elevate the voices of my clients so this was great! So so so good!! Here’s just a few of the images from today!
