From Spam to Inbox in 48 Hours 📩
I cut cold email spam placement by ~70% in 48 hours across multiple client domains. …WITHOUT tweaking the copy, sending volume, or inbox warmup settings. The problem: Most ESPs can see where a domain is registered. And if it’s commonly abused by spammers or associated with sketchy infrastructure… So even your “perfect” emails start at a disadvantage. The fix: Move your cold email domains to Cloudflare. Why? Because it: • masks your registrar • adds trusted infrastructure • makes your setup look more legit to inbox providers The setup we use 👇 Step 1: Move every cold email domain to Cloudflare. Cloudflare masks your original registrar and adds enterprise-level security that email providers trust, so you land in the right folder. Just go to cloudflare.com → create a free account. Click “Add a domain.” Paste the domain. Select the free plan. It will scan and import your DNS records automatically and give you two new nameservers. Copy both. Step 2: Update your nameservers. Inside your registrar (GoDaddy, etc.): Go to domain manager → find “nameservers” Switch from Default → Custom Paste the two Cloudflare nameservers Save. Step 3: Configure DNS records correctly. Go to Cloudflare → your domain → DNS. Add/import: SPF (TXT) DKIM (TXT / CNAME) DMARC (TXT) MX records Tip: turn OFF the proxy switch in Cloudflare for these. Step 4: Create a clean, masked redirect. Go to Cloudflare → Rules → Page Rules Create a new rule: URL pattern: www.your(cold-email)domain.com/* Setting: Forwarding URL Type: 301 (Permanent Redirect) Destination: https://www.your(main)domain.com/$1 If Cloudflare asks to create an "A record", just accept it. And that’s it. What this actually does • removes hidden trust issues • improves inbox placement • reduces spam flags significantly Most people obsess over: copy tweaks subject lines A/B tests …but ignore the foundation. Cold email isn’t just messaging.
