Developing Some Workshops (Ideas welcome!)
I’m planning to start hosting monthly workshops / masterclasses. If you could attend one and walk away with total clarity on something specific, what would it be? Where are you currently stuck? (here are a few ideas, but rather hear from you) - Writing stronger scripts? - Designing thumbnails that actually get clicks? - Packaging your videos for Browse? - Clarifying your personal brand? - Monetizing your channel? - Generating better content ideas? - Creating consistently without burnout? Tell me exactly what you’d want help with. The more specific you are, the better I can build it around what you actually need.

@Dawn Ponsford This is a great plan. Start with a clear hook so people know what they will get right away. Make your introduction short. Focus on giving the viewer a quick win they can use right now. Keep the video moving and make sure the steps are easy to follow. You are on the right track!

@Andy Asher I agree.
Live call this week is Cancelled 🥲
Hey everyone, I hate to say it, but we’re currently drowning in sickness over here—pretty much the whole family is down, and I haven’t slept in a solid week. It’s been the most intense flu I’ve seen in this household since COVID. Because of that, I haven’t been as present here this week, and I really appreciate your understanding. Let’s plan to resume next week, unless by some miracle things take a big turn for the better. If that happens, I might be able to do a call on Friday—but I can’t make any promises just yet. Missing you guys!!! ❤️ Thanks so much for your patience and support. 🙏

Hi y’all 👋 just joined like 10 minutes ago 😅😆 My name is Alice. I am a virtual assistant and I recently started coaching other moms to start their own virtual assistant business. I just created my channel a few days ago!! Eekk! I was so nauseous on my way to click that publish button 😅 but I did it. I plan on making my first video on Monday. I would love feedback on what I do have so far. Pic, banner, description. I think for the banner I would like to shrink everything so it doesn’t take up so much room, I think it’ll make it look better. What do y’all think?

Welcome to the community. I really like your description. I think you also have a great banner.
Winning!!!
I had to share this. When Andy came to me at the end of February, he was pivoting his channel and was losing subscribers. He wanted a clear strategy and to stop spinning his wheels. He didn't know if he should start a new channel or continue with the old. We stuck with his old and decided to revive it, why throw away 900+ subs. The ones that didn't want to be there during the pivot were leaving anyway. He has been working HARD & STEADY these past two months and learning a ton of new skills and software programs and solidly pushing through every obstacle. 🎉💪 I just want to show that it can happen. He went from losing subs to now gaining over 30 in the last seven days on his channel!! The journey: We had our first meeting together end of February, most of March we were testing what works, improving his presentation and value for the viewer, now we have found his groove (of course still testing always), but we know his audience and what they want. Now it's just consistency and steady improvements from here on out, so we can get this man monetized!!! So so so so proud of his journey and for those of you midlife and beyond, he is 77 years old and doing a fitness channel. So cool! 🙌 Why do I think he is succeeding? He is humble, asks for help, takes the feedback, makes the changes, tries harder each time, continues to ask more questions, learns and applies what he is learning. Every meeting we have and many messages in between, he is ALWAYS asking questions, seeking, trying, and taking BOLD, BOLD, BOLD action way out of his comfort zone. Some things he was hesitant about, but still did it. So proud of you Andy!! Let's go, go, grow!!! Excited for your future. Remeber everyone celebrate your wins, you are working hard for them. Let Andy motivate you to keep going!!!! 💖💖💖

@Alexa Saarenoja I agree with you Alexa. Up to the point of the end of the pandemic, I swore off social media, eventhough I have a technical background. Then when I started thinking about it as a business, and all the tech behind it, I started liking it more and more.

@Alexa Saarenoja True. I find that once you take a step back, and stop listening to 1000 people's opinions you'll start to have clarity.

@Ranjana Hubach I am using Capcut desktop. When you were using Capcut desktop were you getting any error messages when attempting to download your video?

@Sherry Hays Hi, have you ever considered using Capcut desktop? It's easy to learn and surprisingly versatile. Regarding the music have you considered using the music from YouTube's free library or paying a monthly fee from somewhere like Artlist?
