So yesterday our company had a safety stand down meeting cause it was the 1 year anniversary of the passing of one of our heavy equipment mechanics. Last year at this time there was an accident on the job site which cause our mechanic his life. Unfortunately there were things that should have already been put in place for something like this to never happen but yet it did. Yesterday I was a bit upset internally cause the only thing our company said was blah blah paper work and pretty much drug our mechanics name through the mud. And nothing was said about anything spiritual , nothing about God or heaven . So last year when this happened I called my wife and not even 15 minutes after I got off the phone with her God had sent her an image of Jesus taking the mechanic straight to Heaven and that he didn’t feel any pain. My wife has a spiritual gift of getting images and tuition when or before things happen. One of my gifts is evangelizing to people. Even you gents have spiritual gifting a from the Holy Spirit but you need to have that relationship with God/Jeus/Holy spirit and be learning and asking for the gifts. Once you get that step out in faith and lead others. So back on point, what my wife shared with me I shared with my crew and then called the owners and shared with them. What they said next really bothered me . They said they Hoped I was right …. That’s not faith , they should have said yay that’s awesome he is in Heaven!!! But they didn’t So Gentleman, you need to know we aren’t promised Tommorow and we aren’t even promised the next 5 minutes. So get your stuff together and Get God in your life if you don’t so you’re always ready for eternal life. It’s not ourselves we worry about it’s everyone else around us that we can’t control . A year ago I got fired from corporate America and I'm forever grateful. I had never been fired up until that point and boy howdy have I worked a lot of jobs. But for the first time in my life, I was let go for being myself. They felt I wasn't a good fit. It was during my probationary period so there was nothing I could do but be professional and appreciate the opportunity they gave me. I applied every where for 3 months. I probably refreshed LinkedIn 25,000x/day during that time. Nothing. Now the next part is devine intervention. For whatever reason I applied at Costco in July. I was way overqualified and they hired me on the spot. It was blow to my wallet and pride(also one of the best companies I ever worked for). On the third day of working there, a guy I grew up with came to my register. We were surprised and grateful to see each other! He told me that he was a firefighter in a city nearby. He told me they were hurting, not enough people had been applying. He invited me for a ride along at the department. I went back to school. I got certified. I start my job at the fire department in 10 days and I could not be more excited! Don't take time for granted, you can change your whole world in 1 year! Whether you're at your lowest or your highest, you got this 🤘❤️
