What's everyone up to this weekend? Due to so many cancellations Lewis has a game tomorrow (even though it's half term!) and hi usual training tonight. 4G tomorrow and instead of rain, he will be playing with the temperature at -1 🥶

@Mike Maidens Astro mate. All my games are played on either 3G or 4G. Very rarely get to play on grass. At least it means we rarely get a call off

@Mike Maidens I don't, not a massive fan of the grip on the Astro gloves, especially in wet weather, so stick with regular gloves and change more frequently

Matchday Set List

Hey all, some may remember that just before Christmas we had a discussion around what music (if any) we all listen to pre match! I have put together a playlist on Spotify with those songs - called J4K Pre-Match Set List, which can be accessed via a search. Lefty kicking

Are there any left footed keepers on here? My boy is struggling with goal kicks. He was always the only lefty in the team and taught to kick by right footed players. We didnt really think it was an issue, but the more im looking into it with him, seems like it is. We have watched the vids on here and he has blitz you tube, not nothing clicks consistently. Any advice welcome. Tia

I am a righty so cannot say for definite, but I would imagine the mechanics and fundamentals of kicking are the same. - Ensure your standing/planted foot is in the right place (I normally aim for about a foot away from the ball), and firmly planted when making contact with the ball - make sure when planting your foot to the ground the toes are pointing in the direction you want the ball to go - Strike the ball in the lower but middle area of the ball - Place the ball on a flat area of the pitch - ideally in a slightly elevated patch if you can
