Looks more like an aftermarket clear coat starting to peel and chip away. PPF usually lifts at the edges. Has the potential to be a very difficult job, especially given that it’s barely peeling so it might not come off easily. It could be 2K, but no telling which type of 2K or how much hardener was used.
Pollen Season
Just wondering how pollen may impact using the product(stay clear or the ceramic).

CERAKOTE/Headlight Magic
I have been using headlight magic products for the last 6 months and I absolutely love them. The results are awesome, ROI is great and Jason is always generous to give away products and training. One of my friends is getting into headlight restoration and I recommend that he buy headlight magic products. He said that he was probably going to get CERAKOTE, mainly because it is a little cheaper. So, my question is, is there any difference between the step 1/ step 3 products from CERAKOTE vs headlight magic? The only thing I have found is that one uses wipes and the other uses a bottle. Both will do 50 sets, although CERAKOTE seems to be a little cheaper if you are buying just step 1 and 3. Like I said, I personally use headlight magic, I'm just wondering if there is any difference/ any reason my friend should use it over CRERAKOTE

That’s not apples to apples. I’m pretty sure the packaged cerakote is the same as the bottle. But the you’re wrong about the amount of cars it can do. According to Cerakote you’re supposed to use about 4 step one wipes per headlight and a separate step three wipe on each light. So that would get you 12.5 cars for the Step 1 box and 10 cars for the Step 3. With experience he might be able to stretch it further. With headlight magic you can control how much of the product you use on each light abs everything is more concentrated so a little goes a long way. Then you can reseal the bottle for later. Once you open a Cerakote wipe you have a few minutes to use it before it dies up. But I’m sure it’s fine to start with though… work his way up..
