@Matt Transki Thanks Matt, What process or system do you use? What is the most important tool/item in your toolkit?

Hi Derek, Thanks for the message. That red car is actually a VW Beetle, but they have headlights similar to the Porsches. In fact, I'm doing a Porsche today. I usually start with 800 grit (600 if it's really bad) and work my way up to 3000, then 2 cycles of compounding with Meguiar's Ultimate Compound, and then 2 more cycles of Meguiar's PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish. Nothing exotic, and readily available at local stores. Then a higher quality UV Protectant. That's it, pretty simple. The main thing is just having a great DA sander/polisher (with extra batteries for longer or multiple jobs/day). It really does all the hard work. How about you? What methods and products do you use?

What’s the worst that can happen.
guys don’t be scared of lower grits. 98% of everything we do is reversible! the reality is the worst that’s going to happen is you’ve got to spend more time and whatever ways it’s going to look better than when you started. This is started from 400grit all the way up to 3000 all hand sanded with a lot of elbow grease. Don’t be scared! give your customers what they want which makes them a walking advertisement for your business

@Daniel Casados Hello Daniel, I’ve gone down to 400 grit for really heavy oxidation or deep scratches. Don’t be afraid to go lower—just work your way back up through the grits in the normal step-by-step process. It may add one or two extra steps, but it usually produces much better results.

Hi John, Great video!!! Which program did you use to create it?
New here
Hey guys. So I’m inspired by watching Tik Tok vids. And I ended up here. I been kicking around the idea to start a small business that I can be my own boss. I think I found it. Question is, do any of you use a mechanics chair or just take a knee?

I just use a folding chair—it’s easy to pack, store, and slide around while working. It doesn’t have holders for tools, but that’s a small trade-off for the convenience since im mobile and don't have a shop space.
Holy Honda
35 minutes, $199. This really is the best job in the world.

Hello Jason, I’m new to the group. If you’re completing a job in 35 minutes, that’s flying. Could you explain your process in a bit more detail? A job like that would usually take me at least an hour, so I’d love to learn what you’re doing to save time on-site.
