Anyone have contracts with dealerships in your area? How did you reach out ? How much are you charging or what’s the contract? There’s a few small deslers in my area and most their cars have nasty headlights! lol

Any advice? Ceramic Coating is a Little Streaky
I started out by practicing with the Cerakote kit and now use the newest headlight magic kit. To my customers the results look great, but I can tell the ceramic coating is going on a bit streaky. (if you pause the ā€œafterā€ video and zoom in a bit you can see it slightly hazy/streaky over the main bulb.). I have tried using a little more product, and a little less product to see if that would help but I just can’t seem to get rid of the streaks. Maybe i’m holding the applicator pad a little too firmly?? I’d be grateful for any ideas y’all have!

Weather has a factor in its speed of curing, did you wait 10-15 min after to see? Usually settles after

@Nathan Aydelotte that’s happened with me, waited a while, perfect
First mistake. Help 😳
Guys I did 600,800,1k,2k,3k and then ceramic coat and it still left scratches and haze and then used the ceramic coat on the badge and it just ended up being milky looking.. the client was super nice and understanding but this isn’t a great start especially for my confidence being like my third job ever… Also a little background information I was sanding horizontally the whole time and in retrospect I probably should have alternated between vertical and horizontal sanding so I could fully ensure I go over all the scratches from the previous grit.
First mistake. Help 😳

@Derek Doucet practice makes perfect, yea I wouldn’t use this ceramic on non polycarbonate material that’s more than likely the reason for the runs or maybe it wasn’t cleaned properly ; the trim and badges are plastic is what you have read about, that’s what I’ve used them on
