I pulled my reports, found a few single late payments, and sent goodwill letters to each company. These aren’t disputes... they’re respectful requests asking creditors to remove a one-time slip from your record. Own the mistake, explain the situation, and show you’ve fixed the issue (like setting up auto-pay). You’d be surprised how often they’ll say yes.
