DPA - Required in Europe
As part of my compliance obligations under the GDPR/DSGVO, I am required to sign a Data Processing Agreement (DPA, in German "Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag" or AVV) with any service provider processing customer data on my behalf. Given that I am planning to use Assistable.ai for "processing" (Appointment scheduling) data of my customers and prospects as well as their customers, I kindly request that you provide me with your signed standard Data Processing Agreement. As this is a mandatory requirement for all your clients in Europe, I assume you might already have a standard agreement prepared. If so, could you please send it over to me? I'd greatly appreciate your support with this. Thank you very much for your support. If you require any further information from my side, please let me know. Looking forward to your reply. Best regards, Julian

Major Scam Attack Calling our Voice AI all Saturday Long
Something very disturbing happened last Saturday where my voice ai sample on the website was triggered non-stop to make inbound and outbound calls, always maxing out the time, until the account was empty. Hundreds of such attempts, all from different names and numbers, most international. Fortunately, I didn't leave much money in that card, otherwise, so top up stopped, otherwise it could have cost me hundreds or thousands of dollars. Very disturbing. And Assistable, please, we need to have email notification every time there is a top up or negative account. If so, I would have noticed right away - but unfortunately, I didn't find out until Monday and was lucky that there wasn't more money in the account. Either way, we need instant email when balance is negative, aka top up not working (which was also an issue recently for several people) - anything involving charges or money should have an instant notification. Please. But more importantly, what can we do to protect ourselves against scams like this. From the screenshots, it seems like an army of agents deliberately targeting my site to cost it hundreds or even thousands of dollars. Maybe some nefarious competitor, not sure. It's quite bizarre. The recording shows an automated voice ai response putting my ai on hold to wait for "customer support" with music etc....

Europe/GDPR
Hello, We raised this request before, but the matter is becoming increasingly urgent. Could you please let us know when we can expect a solution for Assitable’s European customers? We specifically need a GDPR-compliant setup with servers located in Europe. A short roadmap or timing on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Critical Latency Issue with German Language Processing in Voice Agents
Hey everyone, I'm based in Germany and primarily build German-speaking voice agents, which means I'm heavily reliant on German language processing. I've been facing an recurring critical issue: Voice agents using German Language Processing tend to have noticeably higher response latency — enough that it disrupts the flow of conversation and feels unnatural to users. This is starting to affect the overall user experience and has been raised by several clients (7 out of 8) who asked whether response time could be improved. I’m actively working to understand and find a solution. I’ve tested various approaches: - Reduced the number of characters in the prompt (2000–4000 range) - Tried fully scripted, fully prompted, and hybrid formats - Tested dozens of different voices - Unfortunately, none of these had a meaningful impact on latency Then I ran a test where I used the exact same prompt, but switched the Language Processing from German to English. Result: The latency issue disappeared. The agent became lightning-fast and fluid. This leads me to believe the problem is rooted in the current limitations of German language processing compared to English. To back this up, I’ve attached audio files from both test cases so you can hear the difference in real time. So my questions to the community are: - Is anyone else experiencing similar latency issues in languages other than English? - Has anyone found a solution or workaround? Any insights would be incredibly helpful. This is an urgent issue for me, as it directly affects user experience and client retention — and I know these are key priorities for everyone here, including the platform team. Thanks in advance for your support 🙏
