To Journal or not to Journal?
As coaches we are required to be reflective during and post our training. Personally I find reflection, and with that, self coaching fairly easy and fast. Yet I still find myself challenged by journalling! It's just not a practice that I have been consistent in. Over the weekend I wondered if it would be helpful to do a CPD course in Journal Therapy - to help me but also in order that I might help others. I would appreciate your thoughts - What is your reflective practice? What are your thoughts about journaling? What are your experiences of it? How do you journal? Do you journal because you get results from it? If so what results? If you don't journal - is there any particular reason for not doing so? Thank you (in advance) for your insights and discussion on this topic.

@Zoe Glenister Thank you so much for sharing your experience - I like your 3 coaching reflection questions too. Have Coaching Academy provided a reflection template for you?

@Daniel Kemp Thank you Daniel - the differentiation of personal written journalling and voice notes for coaching is interesting for me to ponder. I don't have to use the same method all the time!
Tech advice needed!
I'm looking for a way to send professional html emails to my contacts list without paying loads in subscription fees. Any ideas? Recommendations? What works for you? All responses appreciated.

Hi Daniel - I use Mailerlite - Free to start off with - easy automations and segmentation. Very helpful online support. You will find there is 30 days of the pro version - so be planned as you can use and set up templates in that time and keep them alive when you revert back to the basic plan. Over time I have used Mailchimp = pain in the neck, Kit - over complicated for me, but it is well recommended.
Another great Monday Coffee with this wonderful community

Starting the first week of Winter Time with a coffee
Great meeting @Derek Fraser Crosson and @Daniel Kemp this morning for a coffee. It was an inspiration to hear Derek story and how he became hypnotherapist and a confidence coach. My commitment for this week is focusing on inviting people to my next workshop and getting involved more on LinkedIn conversations. I forgot to mention that in the call but I am also working on a new set of videos for November. Please share below your commitment for this week. We are as a community offer accountability.

So sorry I totally forgot - having not added them to my calendar and only attending my first session last week. My goals this week - 1. send off all the forms to Companies House for the registration of a new CIC. 2. Solidify my ongoing marketing plan for my coaching offers and take positive steps towards posting more offer based LI posts between now and Christmas.

@Isaac Goldfarb Thank you that will add them one by one - do you have a 'subscribe' to calendar link? I use Apple ical. No idea if that's possible or not.
Even when AWS is down, Monday Coffee is the way to start your week
We had to start the meeting 15 mins late as zoom was crashing and no one could have got in, but @Zoe Glenister , @Wendy Rogers and our newbie @Julie Stevens managed to get in and share their plans for this up coming week. Thank you for joining - I am inviting you to comment your plans for this week. Mine are: - Working further on the new quiz I am building. - Connecting with more users on LinkedIn.

Hello - waves and smiles from Rochester, Kent - delighted to find out about Monday coffee meetings - even though I am tea-total. Great to meet you all and thank you for your support over the last month when I was doing a LI challenge. My plans for this week are to keep up with the LI posting - it would be great to get 5 posts in over the next 7 days. I am currently working on the application form to apply and register a CIC - Community Interest Company - the form to fill in is a nightmare - basically a very badly constructed Word document with tables so badly formatted it was enough last Thursday to crack open the Gin! Now awaiting the feedback from the rest of the Directors before we send it off - this is very exciting and totally different to the coaching which I do everyday. Have a great week all.
