Body Doubling/Priority Party Discussion Thread
Let's chat here about days and times that work well for folks! I'm always looking for body doubling as someone who works from home! 💖 Please include time zones as well since I know we're all over the place. 🥰

@Mai Le & @Nikki Thorpe i suggest you put out a day/time that works best for you, like @Celia Castro and see what aligns. I can create a zoom link or you can convene right here on Skool. Let me know how to beat support this. There’s clearly a desire. And I’m grateful for you coordinating. 💕 AND, if desires change, please be vocal. [zooming out] This is the space to practice negotiating/setting boundaries. ✨🙌🏽
FA practice opportunity: value of community
Part of the goal of this CB space is to continually mature your Functional Adult by providing a safe space in which to unfold into who you really are. The daily practice of reparenting your Littles rewires your nervous system. As social creatures, we are hard wired to need connection and belonging to obtain safety and meaning. The way that our American society is structured is to produce people who are anti dependent and codependent. This is the back and forth dance between Adaptive Teen and Wounded Child. In my experience as a clinician of over 20 years, we all -every single one of us- has attachment “issues” due to how we were parented, the beliefs of society, and the very real unconscious impact of collective trauma due to settler colonialism, white body supremacy, patriarchy, and capitalism. Watch this analysis by @doss.discourse and then explore the following: 1. Who is driving their bus? (“They”: men doing the active harm.) 2. What are the feelings they might be feeling? 3. What do those adaptive parts need to hear to be able to access their functional adult? What boundary needs to be set? 4. Questions or insights when you explore this based on your experience? https://www.instagram.com/reel/DVUbl5vEkvu/?igsh=MTQ2aHhhZnEwZDUwMg==

Reminder: Perfection is not the goal. Unconditional love with healthy boundaries —> continual self “creation” is the goal.
Body was the first talisman
This creator is wonderful. I can teach other tools to use the body as a tool, guide, and conduit—all the while viewing your Self as precious and with purpose . https://www.instagram.com/reel/DVgWiuYjH2U/?igsh=MW9ycW1obmczMmRtNQ==

Welcome, Cycle Breakers! Do this first…
1. Breathe. In case you feel overwhelmed with all the posts, just breathe. Take your time. You're exactly where you're supposed to be, and the feelings are all breadcrumbs. Everything here is optional. 2a. Introduce yourself in the comments here with a story of your name. It might include some cultural context 2b. Share a hope/goal for being a Cycle Breaker. 3. Go into classroom and watch “Start Here”, where it will tell you some guidelines about this community. Reminder: You’re here for you—to figure YOU out and to be in a space where people are learning to be authentic with healthy boundaries and communicating in non violent ways.

@Erika Barrington wow. So rich, this share. Thank you! I’m slowly digesting, like a flourless chocolate cake. Dense and textured. Have you looked up the origin of your last name?

Full Moon Eclipse Reflection
Didn’t realize it was in my sun sign and how much is resonated with me is now making so much sense. The theme was letting go of expectations and allowing things to be naturally so that I don’t feel disappointment and celebrate authenticity. Video and words are by me ❤️✨🌒
