I'M IN NEW ZEALAND. YOU'RE IN FLORIDA. “7PM” ISN'T HELPING EITHER OF US. 😂
I see this all the time with online events. “Come and join us at 7pm!” or "Starting tomorrow" Lovely. Whose 7pm? And what day is tomorrow Because my 7pm could be your 3am, and suddenly your lovely networking event involves me attending in my pyjamas with one eye open and absolutely no idea what anybody is talking about. And while we're on the subject, can we have a little chat about dates? If you put 9/10 on your event, my English brain reads that as 9th October. An American reads it as September 10th. That's not a minor misunderstanding. That's an entire bloody month. 😂 It's such a simple thing, but if people have to stop and work out when your event is, which timezone you mean or where the link has disappeared to, you're giving them an opportunity to wander off. And people DO wander off. Usually towards something requiring considerably less effort. So give them the date with the month written out, the time, the timezone and put the link somewhere they don't need a search party to find it. Make it ridiculously easy for people to understand when your event is and how to get there. @Des Dreckett and I spend rather a lot of time talking about this sort of thing inside Skool Events Daily, along with helping event hosts get their events seen by more people. If events are your thing, or you'd quite like them to be , come and have a nose around: https://www.skool.com/skoolevents/about And now I'm curious... have you ever turned up to an online event at completely the wrong time? Please tell me I'm not the only one. 😂

Yes and before the days of better tech , trying to organise a time to connect , working out timezones ... that's one of the things I love about Skool is it shows the time in your timezone from the calendar. Curious how many different time zones would you list in a post ? I try to do UK and EST As I figure Europe know they are 1 hour ahead , other American times can calculate from EST ... Am I missing anything?
Looking for women who want to thrive together 💫
I created Thrive Together Circle because I wanted a space where women could support each other in life AND business. Some of us are growing businesses. Some are navigating changes in our careers or relationships. Some are reinventing ourselves in midlife. And many of us are simply asking... What do I want this next chapter of my life to look like? Inside Thrive Together Circle we have live expert sessions, networking, accountability, personal development, wellbeing, meditation, energy healing and lots of opportunities to connect.🧡 But more than anything, it's about having women around you who genuinely want to see you do well.🌟 Where women rise together.💫 If that sounds like the sort of community you've been looking for, I'd love to welcome you inside Thrive Together Circle 💫

Please Introduce Yourself
One of the most important things I've learned since becoming an online entrepreneur is that the most important thing you can do to grow your business is to build relationships. Many of us (myself included) have rushed to promote our groups and services that we care so deeply about. And it only makes sense - we are excited about what we are doing! Today, I'd like to invite you to take a step back and introduce yourself to the group by answering the following questions: 1. Who are you personally? 2. Who are you professionally? 3. What is something you love doing outside of work? 4. What is something surprising about you? As you open up and make more connections, you will find that not only are people more interested in what you do, but they will also be more interested in helping you make connections with other people they know! 😉 After you introduce yourself, please scroll through the other introductions and add a comment to someone you have something in common with or would like to know more about. 😊 Please add your introduction in the comments below! ⬇️
