When I was practicing to get my driver's license my driving instructor always used to tell me to "stop inventing things" when I said things like "oh but I thought I need to be doing ___" Honestly, the same goes for YouTube. Until you've reached a level where you understand the game, just follow the rules of what works. Then you can innovate and start inventing things. "Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist." ~Picasso If you're not getting any views, put your video side by side with a similar video by someone more successful. Then copy everything they're doing. Until you see results, then you start innovating. What did I do wrong?? Should I change the title? Maybe a different thumbnail? No, let me re-upload it- or maybe- Relax. It’s still likely it can pick up later, check the screenshots below. Day 1 it looked really bad… If your video isn’t performing - sure, change the title and thumbnail after 5 days if you spent so much time on the video want really want it to perform But don’t change it too fast, you might get rid of a title and thumbnail combo that could’ve worked… I just like to move on and make the next video :) 10/10, would recommend Also, always look at the individual statistics of your past uploads before making your next video so you can actually improve :) If you want direct feedback on your videos to speed up your growth 10x, check out https://skool.com/ben

At least that's my favorite way of going about it.
