Stop inventing things ❌
When I was practicing to get my driver's license my driving instructor always used to tell me to "stop inventing things" when I said things like "oh but I thought I need to be doing ___"
Honestly, the same goes for YouTube.
Until you've reached a level where you understand the game, just follow the rules of what works.
Then you can innovate and start inventing things.

If you're not getting any views, put your video side by side with a similar video by someone more successful. Then copy everything they're doing. Until you see results, then you start innovating.
