Apparently Maestro is no longer providing MacBook Air M4. They have pivoted to the MacBook Neo, which I am definitely concerned about. If you aren’t aware, the Neo uses the A18 chip and base model only provides 8gb of ram. This is less than what’s in my IPhone 17 pro max. Kind of disappointed as this is clearly a money saving initiative. The MacBook Air was perfect for what we are doing in regard to specs and cost to the university. Maybe I’m overreacting, but I don’t feel great about this. Let’s use this thread to chat once we start receiving our computers and maybe share what we are doing to make up for the lack of specs.

I am on of the manic March cohorts and been studying the psychology 101 which I am absolutely loving. I've always been a fan of different sciences. Now I see they will be offering a Psychology degree beginning fall 2026. I am wondering what steps it would take to change paths.

Hey just letting my Jan cohorts know I received an email from fed ex about the laptop being shipped.

I just got an email from FedEx with a shipping label from Maestro to me dated for Monday. It is THEIR label with boiler plate directions for printing, putting on the package, and arranging for pickup. Hopefully that is just their way of alerting students of shipment.... and w00t! My laptop is coming.
