OH, THE RESPONSIBILITY OF IT ALL
Hi all. I'm having an interesting issue with creating content, maybe some of you have too. My videos are all on the fly and they relatively suck because of that (ok cringe fest, lol). I know this and have been ok with it because I'm just parking on YT for now until I'm "ready" to get more serious about it. And somehow got 190 subs up to this point, no engagement though. So I realize I've been procrastinating because the process of writing scripts, editing, doing all the things to optimize views/reach, and setting up my filming environment takes COMMITMENT. With commitment comes responsibility. And in my personal life I've been overloaded with stressful demands-sick parents, mother with dementia who lives and hour away in memory care and I have to drive there a lot, my own business plus a part time job, all while trying to deal with some fibromyalgia/CFS symptoms. But the irony is that I know a prosperous YT platform would alleviate a lot of my stress, which is financial. So catch 22. I'm just coming to terms with this. I know that I have the ability to produce content that's effective, I just also know for me there's a learning curve that will take time, and well, commitment. I'd love to hear from anyone who has crossed this impasse in their own content creation journey. Any words of wisdom or inspiration would be so lovely right about now! Blessings all! Theresa 😊🙏

CB Challenge: Day 4 Complete...Finally!
I decided not to click the Skool app again until I was done this step - and it worked. Lots of thought went into these tasks and I know I won't regret the rabbit holes I went down exploring my long term goals for the channel. While doing this day of the challenge, I watched two of @Alexa Saarenoja's recent videos and it changed my approach to the channel from being informal to being an authority. Sometimes there is a reason we get seemingly stuck - and this is one of those times. I love the way my channel looks now. Not loving the description, but it is definitely more aligned with my vision. Still working on links, but happy with my progress for now. @Dr. Saundra Stancil @Jaye Brunner @Eddi Pinegar @Adam Tinkoff @Ricardo Solomons @Dajana K.

Guest Speaker for Thursday 🎉
Hello everyone. I have a special guest and dear friend coming to talk with us on Thursday. She is an Emotional Trauma Therapist · Energy Alchemist · Clinical Hypnotherapist. 🤔 Which might have you thinking "what the heck does that have to do with YouTube?" Everything! Many of us hold limiting beliefs that holds up back from showing up fully on YouTube and Sandy Robson, has a unique way of helping people to release things from childhood or beyond that are limiting you. She is truly a magician when it comes to healing. And I thought it would be an nice change to talk about how to release things that are holding you back from showing up fully on YouTube. You can learn more about her here: https://sandyrobsontherapy.com/ @Sandy Robson

Youtube upload settings: Allow Video & Audio Remixing? Yes or No?
What do you do when you upload a long form video or a Short? Do you check "Allow Remixing?" Why or Why Not? Thanks for your thoughts on this!

It depends if you want other people making content about you. Either way its fine. However if your in a niche where your convictions will ruffle feathers some people might make response or rebutle videos using clips of your videos. So it depends if you want that or not. Remixing can help reach but it depends on the context of what people are saying about you and why they are remixing your content. So it depends

Premieres: What is their value?
I just scheduled a premiere of an upcoming video. Last time I held one, I noticed the comments didn't seem to "show up" after the premiere. Made me wonder what makes a premiere valuable if the engagement isn't visible to people who watch later - Does anyone have any insight on this?

I dont know for sure but I think live chats dont count as comments. I think youtube separates them into different categories That doesn't mean that it doesn't drive engagement on the backend So just because we can't see them doesn't mean the algorithm has ignored them. But im not sure

@Julie JordanScott I've never done much with premiers myself so I will be very interested in seeing what you learn
