ANY INSIGHT FOR TIME MANAGEMENT
Currently, one of my biggest struggles is balancing my life . I travel a lot, create social media content, train myself, and work with athletes. Since I don't have a team right now, it can be difficult managing all of those responsibilities while also working part-time. I'm in a situation where I'm trying to decide whether to continue pursuing basketball or focus more heavily on player development. The challenge is that I have opportunities in both lanes, and I genuinely believe I can build something meaningful in each. However, working on the side has been the biggest obstacle because it limits the time and energy I can dedicate to either path. I'd appreciate any advice or input from people who have been in a similar situation or have experience balancing multiple opportunities while chasing long-term goals.

Hey my friend, First of all, I don’t know your beliefs but pray about this decision. lots of factors to look at in your decision. If you are still in college finish and get your degree. If you’re playing pro, look at what is most you could make financially and how far you can actually go. If you can get up to a top league somewhere making a couple grand a month, keep going. If your just pushing back reality and chasing the basketball dream in 3rd world countries, go all into training. I had a trainer in college do the exact thing I’m telling you not to do. Chases small opportunities and had to keep restarting his clientele from scratch. Lost his gym access and now he’s done with basketball and not training at all. He was the best trainer I ever had also. Get advice from God, your mentor, and your closest peers. Praying for you bro
Securing Gym Space!
My next step for my training business is to secure a consistent gym space in my area. I live in a smaller community with not a lot of gym spaces (No YMCA's or public gyms available unfortunately). Any tips or advice on finding a space but also securing one would be much appreciated!!

Get a small warehouse, rent it out and then purchase your basketball materials. Nothing beats operating in your own time scale and having consistent space
Tips
Starting my journey of training this summer with grades 5th-High School. I currently have small groups of 2-3 athletes in each group. If there are any tips anyone is willing to share I am all ears, thank you!

I recommend monthly payments also. I use Coach IQ and the credit based system is amazing. They make a dope website for you also and it’s only 150 a month.

I want to improve my players in helping them play off 2 feet more in the paint.
A win!
What’s up guys. Haven’t been in here for a bit due to life, but I wanted to share a win. Over the last 2 weeks I’ve gained over 2,000 followers on social media and have been getting a steady stream of inquiries about my basketball training business. To be honest, I knew social media was important, but I didn’t realize how powerful it really was until I started posting consistently. For years I treated content like an afterthought. Now I’m seeing firsthand that every post is an opportunity to help someone, build trust, and put your business in front of people who need what you offer. The biggest lesson for me has been this: You don’t need a massive following. You need consistent visibility. The more you show up, the more opportunities you create. Still a long way to go, but it’s encouraging to see the work paying off. Looking forward to seeing where this takes the business over the next few months. Thanks to everyone in this group who shares advice and experiences. It’s helped more than you know. 💪🏽

I’m a trainer in Covington Louisiana. I know you’re based in Tangipahoa. Let me know if I can help you in anyway.
