Freight Skool Activity
Since our goal is to create an Active Community of Professionals that help each other Educate and Inform about important topics regarding Freight Transportation Logistics it is time once again to purge our membership. We will be eliminating memberships of those that don’t show activity in the group. It’s better to have a small group of members who are active and share value or get value from Freight Skool than have a bunch of members who only enter to see what they can get. I want to thank everyone who have become members of Freight Skool and continue to participate in our community. If you have not been on in a while this email is a nudge to get you back in. On Tuesday March 31 all accounts with no activity over the last 30 days will be purged (churned) from the group. So get on and get active. We hope to see you post or comment in the near future. Thank you everyone for making the Freight Skool community the #1 Freight Logistics community on the Skool Platform!

Celebrity in our Group
Of course it would be our very own @Ingrid Brown who would drive her beautiful Peterbilt to deliver the Christmas tree to the Department of Transportation. Here is a link to the video on fb. Thank you Ingrid for leading the way with professionalism in Freight Transportation. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1D4YeGWhPF/?mibextid=wwXIfr

@Ingrid Brown Merry Christmas Ms. Brown and great story. They couldn’t have picked anyone better to get it done.
Late Night Freight - Supply Chain Social Club
Howdy All! Thanks to Steven for the invite and thanks to Pedro Potato (Robert) and Hunter for the Logistics Lounge collaborating with the Supply Chain Social Club on Late Night Freight - an ongoing virtual networking series for folks interested in connecting and learning. We've seen a lot of success with our Warehouse After Dark series focused on the inside of the building. Now we're getting on the road to see how it got there. Our first event was Jan 21 and we're planned to keep things going with our second on Feb 18. Stay tuned to our LinkedIn page for when registration opens. https://www.linkedin.com/company/supply-chain-social/ The platform we use is called REMO and unfortunately does not work well on mobile devices, especially on smaller screens. The bigger the screen the more of the networking floor that's visible. We have other events starting up in International Trade and Compliance, Revenue Generation, and Procurement/Purchasing.

Expanding into Drayage
Hi Guys and Gals, I’m looking to dip my toes into drayage for 2025. Does anyone have any recommendations or sources someone new to the nuances of hauling out ports can get up to speed on? I have a couple RFPs coming up and I’d like to learn as much as possible before I decide if I’ll place bids.

Do your homework. Inland rails and ports are vastly different in terms of demurrage, per diem, hours of operation, etc. Know your equipment as well as dry boxes and specialty equipment (flat racks, reefers, open tops) again are totally different. And then there are chassis pools to navigate. Having moved boxes out of both and working in a port I can tell you that you need to be prepared if you are going to get into that world.

Yes sir it is. If you have any other questions I’d be glad to help.
I'm back, kind of sort of!!
Mr. Dot aka @Steven Tittle if I'm still welcome I'll slowly start being more involved again. I've had to focus on my brokering after losing 80% of my business in Q4 along with growing my show & trying to take that to the next level.
I'm back, kind of sort of!!

I’m going to try and be more active as well. We just finished up our move back to NC and should have some more time.
