Pushing my limits with AI.
So, I thought I'd push my own limits a little with AI, using Chatgpt, Gemini, and Grok, to create a "50-scene" animation. Quoting Disney, "It all started with a little mouse!" Below, is how I generated all this, if it's of any interest to anyone. This was the description posted into Chat GPT: Generate a complete creative package for a 50-scene 2D Animated Cartoon Film (Style: High-quality 2D Cartoon Render). Story Concept: "The Mouse and the Moon" — A mouse steals items from round the garage to build a rocket ship. There is a cat prowling round the garage trying to stop him getting pieces for his rocket, but eventually helps him. The mouse blasts off to the moon, convinced the moon is made of cheese. INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONSISTENCY & SCALE: Define Characters Once: Use the Master Prompts below. CRITICAL CAMERA RULE: Do not generate wide landscape shots where characters are tiny. You must prioritize Medium Shots (waist up) and Close-ups (face focus) so the characters are large, detailed, and fill the frame. Step 1: Master Character Prompt.s Write two highly detailed Text-to-Image prompts to establish the look: [THE MOUSE]: (Write a detailed visual prompt for a young mouse in a 2D cartoon style. He has a cute, expressive face, and wears a green utility vest, shorts, and sneakers. He looks determined). [THE CAT]: (Write a detailed visual prompt for a cute, fluffy cat in a 2D cartoon style . He has big expressive eyes, ginger fur, and wears a blue t-shirt, grey joggers, and running shoes. He looks angry). Step 2: Scene Breakdown Generate the 50-scene script. For each scene, provide these two outputs: IMPORTANT: For every scene, specify "Medium Shot" or "Close-up" to keep characters large. (Text-to-Image Prompt): Describe the visual action. Start the prompt with "Medium Shot of..." or "Close up of..." ensuring THE MOUSE and THE CAT are large and clearly visible in the foreground. (Image-to-Video Prompt): Describe the movement and facial expressions. You must also include the character dialogue here.

I know what you mean about all the AI sites. I haven't been able to beat ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok, along with CapCut, yet! Especially as they are all free if used in the right way. I haven't been into AI long either though. The pricing models on sites like openartai are just ridiculous, especially with their credit system. I use: ChatGPT - Generation; coming up with story ideas, expansion of stories, and creating the creative package. Gemini - Text to Image from prompts created in ChatGPT - Creating initial scene images, and redoing to get consistency. This to me is probably the most important part. Grok - Image to Video - from prompts created in ChatGPT. CapCut - joining the images into one video. If done right, it's quite quick after initial preperation, but when one bit goes wrong, it often means a complete makeover.

Thank you Nancy. To get a smooth transition in Grok, you pause the created scene, move the cursor to the end of the timeline, right-click and select "copy video frame". You then use that frame as the image for your next scene. This should work in any image to video ai.
all I’ve been researching on the use of AI technology
Hi all I’ve been researching on the use of AI technology as you’re aware, there are many platforms promoting this technology. Some in fairness. And some are absolutely for poor on equality of the generation It can end up expensive for you, whether you’re doing testing or one hit generation might not turn out. As you would like it The two key questions, on its technology what support do you receive and also the pricing. Stringing together a series of videos. May sound OK but sometimes, the context of your video generation may be altered and be noticeable in the playback as? Why did that scene jump. Then there is the question of what the platforms are actually supporting? This adds concerned or as where your money it’s been used to fund. We all know, why this technology has been used, to get rich. Quick, obviously this is two-sided argument that is you as your user and also the platform being used, the more prescribes they have the more customers they have the richer they become. From Alan

If I may, I'll give my thoughts here. I know I'm repeating some of what I've said elsewhere, but someone may read this post without having seen my thoughts elsewhere. In no particular order: 1) There are a ton of youtube channels promising millions of views and earning tons of money for simple videos. It's a load of hogwash, IMHO. I don't believe there is a quick route, but if it's money and views you are after, then it takes time; and practise. Most of the channels show spectacular headings to get you to click so they can make money. 2) Keeping the costs down whilst learning. I was fortunate in coming across a video on youtube that not only gave me the basics for AI content creation, but also the tools to use for free. It was a real headstart for me and saved a lot of trouble. I have yet to find anything at a low cost that beats these free tools. https://youtu.be/stysNDEAqVA?si=cKWueDVrIwpOPFQI 3) I do content creation as a hobby, not to make money. I've been learning animation for several years, but AI is bringing it to a whole new level. Getting views on youtube videos is a funny thing. Some of what I consider my best content can get no views, whilst obscure creations get thousands of viewss. The views never come on day one either. One video has 58k views and I don't understand why. https://youtu.be/T7vt3-5FrzQ My most viewed cartoon has 224k views. I would say it's no better than some of the other stuff I've done, which get little or no views. https://youtu.be/70Kdgwo3WBw Time will tell what views come from the AI creations, but as I said, to me this is a hobby. 4) The tools I use, all listed in the video in (2) above, are: ChatGPT; Google Gemini; Grok: CapCut. To make my videos i basically also use the methods from (2) above, but also add into the intial creation stage as I trial and error my way through the AI maze. 5) Have fun learning. Everything else comes later.

We Won't Have Live Calls for the Next Weeks
Hi there! 🙌 Normally, the calendar, holidays or special events don't dictate my schedule. I enjoy spending time with this community and being around people who are actively working to tell stories through animation. In fact, I have a long history of sneaking away to my studio for live calls on December 25th or January 1st, even with a house full of family, just to put in that 1 hour of work before heading back. However, the next couple of weeks are a bit different. My dad is currently in the hospital due to fluid in his lungs. They detected a small tumor, but with surgery, he was able to get much better, and he still will have more years with us - he is 80 years old. While he is stable and doing well, he needs to remain under observation for a few more days. I am spending every night at the hospital to assist him with whatever he needs, which means my "play time" has shifted. I’m currently not getting to bed until around 7:00 or 9:00 AM. Because my daily rhythm has been completely altered, I won’t be able to attend any live calls for the next few days. I’m viewing this as a literal Boss Fight of life. Right now, I’m stepping into the Role of a Guardian (I like to think of it as a Dark Knight quest line 😉). My priority is to serve and assist him, while managing my own tasks (like writing and planning content) straight from my phone or laptop sitting at the hospital. Thank you all for your understanding and support. I'll be back in the game fully as soon as he’s cleared to head home. In the meantime, no matter what happens, keep leveling up!

Best wishes to both your Dad and you. Hope he gets well soon. Take care.
