SOMETHING SPECIAL is coming
Tomorrow marks three years in this location! That’s CRAZY I’m so excited for what’s to come. Also— I hired a coach for ME! Why? Because I have been struggling this year to keep at my goals. It took THREE people to convince me to get back into training, and thanks to them I bit the bullet and put my money where my mouth is. I’m going to crush this!! Photos: my first workout in a MONTH, the walls of the gym 12 hours before opening, and me working out three years ago.

Reminder
Failure is how we learn. The safer the environment is for failure, the more we can grow. The same is true for your exercises. They don’t need to be done perfectly, you have to have the patience for yourself that eventually you will get there

I missed the Q&A this afternoon, was this post created due to a failed attempt to launch it this afternoon?
On your off days,
You should be doing some form of cardio, either a walk or a hike or something of that sort. This will keep your heart healthy. Many of our clients tell us that they want to have the strength to hike again, but for most of you it’s not strength that you’re lacking but that you aren’t taking the time for yourself. Start small, maybe a stroll in the park. At the end of the day, if you have two legs and physically can walk, you can start doing cardio even if you get tired and need to stop. What kind of cardio do you do on your days off from lifting?

Hi! I am an empty nester and healthcare provider. My major fitness goal is to gain lean muscle mass to support my metabolic health, stay fit and be active into my golden years and beyond! In my free time, I feel most alive while playing in nature, my favorite playground is the ADK ⛰️🛶⛷️🥾🚴🏻‍♂️and traveling to explore new nature destinations in the 🇺🇸 and 🇨🇦 and returning to my favorites!
