The Stall
Been stuck for 3 weeks with everything dialed in. My guess is my calories have been to low so I’m increasing intake this week to see. Anyone else dealt with this?

Sometimes a stall doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong. Maybe just keep with the program for another couple of weeks and you might be surprised.
Greetings from Seattle
Howdy. I'm Emmett, age 47, living in Seattle Washington. I have been on TRT for about 4 years, injecting bi-weekly inter-muscularly. TRT has helped me get back to the gym and kickstart some healthy habits. I have struggled with my weight my whole life with a lot of food noise. I eat very healthy and consume alcohol sparingly. However, I continued to gain weight and got up to 200 lbs (at 5'7"), even while working out regularly. I worked with a nutritionist and found that I was eating the right foods ... but just way too much of them. I have been taking compounded Semaglutide for about a month and have dropped about 8 lbs. I'm still eating my healthy food, just a lot less of it. So far so good.

Starting today
After weeks of waiting on insurance…I GOT MY ZEPBOUND TODAY!!! First injection is complete and I’m so stoked to begin this journey. Any advice or comments about how long it takes to start feeling the effects or anything I should know going in is very appreciated.

Intro- I have found my people!
Hello all, I am a 52 YO male living in MN. I have spent much of my late 30s and 40s focused on raising my kids and working. I have battled weight gain the whole way, yo-yo dieting for years. I found myself at 225 nearing 50. My wife had started using Wegovy and was seeing great success losing weight, so I started using compounded Semaglutide in March of 2024. I lost 35lbs right away, as Semaglutide reduced my appetite, but I didn't change much in lifestyle. I found I had lost 14 lbs of muscle during this journey. That's when I started consistently strength training for nearly a year, and saw solid strength gains and more definition, but the belly fat was stubborn and I found adding muscle to be very challenging. I switched to Reta in January of this year, and started seeing some body recomp, but noticed that my sex drive was waning and had overall low energy. After getting a second blood panel, decided to talk to a doctor about my T, which was not clinically low, but suboptimal. I have been on Test for about 6 weeks now and have seen amazing results as I have stepped up my strength training. I have brought my body fat down to 23% today from 29% in March 2026. My next goal is to get below 20% this year and to 15% in 2027. My libido has returned and my sex life has been taken to a whole new level! Glad I have found this group and hope to share my experiences and see others journeys to help each other achieve our goals.

Nicely done!
I'm Gonna Get There!
My name is Brian and I am in my mid 50s and have battled my weight all of my adult life. I WAS just a couple of pounds over 300 and stand 5'11" on good days. Parents both had heart disease, high cholesterol and diabetes. Before starting GLP, I also found out I am fighting a fatty liver. I started Tirzepatide (lowest dose) 2 months ago and I've been on TRT for a couple of year. I also started walking a few miles in the mornings, per doctor's recommendation. I go to the gym but mainly use an Arm Trainer (resistance device) at home 3-4 times a week - it's pretty effective. Today, I am down to 278 and plan to keep improving. But it's a long, hard journey! I had shoulder (rotator cuff) surgery about 3 years ago. And the other shoulder probably needs it today too. But since beginning my GLP, my inflammation has almost disappeared altogether. And I can honestly say that even if there were no weight loss benefits to Tirzepatide, I would continue to use it for the decrease of inflammation! Other than the price, so far, I have not found a downside to this wonder drug. And I hope I never do. I mention all that to say that I concur with Lane about the Triple Reset principal: GLP, TRT, Weights/Resistance Training. I still have a long way to go! But I am making progress! I end with something I have always told my kids: You cannot wish for strong character AND an easy life! Because the price for one is always the other!

You can do this. I lost 85 lb after turning 60 years old. I've had a heart attack, a stent, some serious blood clots, and I have MS. Nothing will stop you if you want to badly enough. Keep at it Brian. I believe in you!
