Let Me Introduce Mr. Roland Vierra
If any of you have any questions regarding anything from the universe to building science and concrete moisture, I’d like to introduce you to @Roland Vierra. Reach out here with any questions you have; I’m sure you didn’t know that concrete is not ready for flooring at 28 days. Let Roland bust that myth and any other myths you need busted.

Q&A – Got a Question? Ask It Here
Stuck on a job site issue? Unsure how to interpret a test result? Not sure which product to use? This is the place to ask. When posting a question, give us as much detail as possible. Photos help tremendously. Include information like the type of concrete, age of the slab, environmental conditions, what flooring is going down, and what testing you've already done. The more context you provide, the better answers you'll get. There are no dumb questions here. We've all been stumped before, and someone in this community has probably faced the same situation.

Jason- how would you advise to handle a failed floor that was installed over a concrete substrate prior to the manufacturer require 6 mil poly claiming it 100% waterproof.

However the MFG considered the attached pad as a protection from vapor up but did not consider the edges of the plank, I believe that is where the floor fails... why did all MFG start requiring 6 mil poly 1.5-2 years later?
