The Sprout Force - 𝘌𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘥𝘦 𝘐𝘝½: 𝘈 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘧
It is a time of regeneration. The evil Empire of Erosion and Chemical Overuse tightens its grip across the galaxy. But in hidden gardens and quiet flower beds, a small band of rebels dares to fight back… one sprout at a time. 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 Led by the wise and unflappable 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗯𝗶-𝗡𝗲𝗺𝗮-𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗲 @Jeffrey C, whose ancient knowledge of seeds, soil, and the mystical Compost Force has inspired gardeners across countless zones and climates. Legend says he once grew a tomato the size of a small moon. At his side is 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 @Serenity Michelle , fearless apprentice and hydroponic innovator. Armed with bubbling reservoirs and a front flower bed in need of balance, she brings hope to neglected soils and indoor corners of the galaxy alike. 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳: • Overwatering (Stormdrippers) • Soil compaction (Imperial Clomp Troopers) • Invasive weeds (Darth Crabgrass) • The dreaded Sith Lord, 𝗚𝗹𝘆𝗽𝗵 𝗢. @Jim Flach t yes for sure there is a huge amount of credit due to my focus on primal movements and yoga that make it possible. For years I have spent time working on being able to flat footed squat as a resting posture, and being able to move around in that position. Many hours spent collecting acorns.

wooosh the time flies. Fall off the rails for a few days and you've gone from day 7 to 13. I have been working extra at my job this week and weekend. I got home at 1220 am and got up at 630 to get back by 815. I managed to water my transplants. And yesterday I looked at my big field amazed at what it looks lime after days of scorching heat and not watering. I contacted my good friend to arrange a swert potato slip pickup and trade. The corn shoots were a bit lodged from the wind intensity but they look good. Excited to hill irish potatoes and plant sweet potatoes this weekend.
🌍🪴 Soil Wars: Rise of the Root Rebels 🌿⚔️
Hey everyone! We’re the Root Rebels — a dynamic duo on a mission to grow wild, experiment boldly, and challenge everything we thought we knew about plants. 🛸🌱 I’m Obi-Nema-Todee @Mary-Heather Fajardo , and I literally dug up my front yard to create a garden that feeds my body and calms my mind. 🌿 I’ve spent years studying herbs and native plants — always curious, always questioning, and always searching for new ways to make things grow better, stronger, and more naturally. And this is my Soilorian, @Samantha Gahm — a fearless gardener with raised beds, in-ground plantings, native plants galore, and a composting system that turns scraps into soil gold. ♻️ She’s rooted in sustainability and passionate about creating a space that thrives with purpose and beauty. Together, we’re the Root Rebels — and we don’t always follow the rules. We love testing boundaries: planting things where they shouldn’t grow, mixing methods, and seeing what happens when we break the “garden laws.” Because sometimes? That’s where the magic happens. ✨🌱 We believe growth isn’t just about sunlight and soil — it’s about curiosity, courage, and community. And we’re so excited to be here with you.

The MycorRebels
In a galaxy not so far away, beneath our very feet, a silent war rages… We are the MycorRebels—guardians of the garden, defenders of the soil biome, warriors of regeneration. The stakes are the future of every seed, root, and ecosystem that dares to rise. I am Jim as Obi-Nema-Todee, seasoned soil master and rebel cultivator. At my side stands Padawan Julie, as The Soilarian, a fierce apprentice of the fungal frontier, tuned to the whispers of root and hyphae. Together, we rise not for power—but for balance. With a force of microbe warriors, the wisdom of mycorrhizal alliances, and the fire of ancient compost, we battle the sterile empires of neglect and depletion. Our tools are not sabers—but spores, roots, and rhizospheres. Our mission is to awaken the hidden life beneath us and restore vitality to the gardens of our planet. The MycorRebels do not retreat. We regenerate. We root. We rise. So let it be known—life begins in the soil, and the soil has its warriors.

@Jim Flach beautiful photos. The mushroom looks like a magical parasol. Great narrative too!

@Julie Vigil i have some spots on my cucumber leaves too. Seems pretty common, even in the best systems. I recently noticed an interesting seeming technique in a market garden video. They had the cucumbers trellissed up 8 ft or higher in hoophouses. There were no leaves on the bottom 5 ft of vine. And the vines were thunderously thick. So I started removing infected leaves this year.
“The Jedi Mulch Lords”
From the fertile gardens of the Outer Rim comes a legendary duo whose mastery over soil and plant life is whispered about in cantinas across the galaxy. Solitarian “Stacey”, the eager apprentice, channels the Living Force through seedlings and saplings, her connection to growing things stronger than most Padawans' bond with their lightsabers. Under the wise guidance of Master Obi-Nema-Todee “Tenia”, whose weathered hands have cultivated peace through countless garden conflicts, she learns that true power flows not from anger, but from composted patience. Together, they wield ancient techniques passed down through generations of horticultural Jedi - the Sacred Art of the Pruning Shears, the Meditation of Deep Watering, and the legendary Force-Push Weeding. Their opponents may underestimate these guardians of growth, but the Mulch Lords know that even the mightiest Sith cannot stand against the inexorable power of a well-tended garden. *"Do or do not, there is no try... except when transplanting delicate seedlings."* - Master Obi-Nema-Todee May the Forks be with you

@Tenia Taborn yes! That's awesome that you're going to sell seedlings! Those clay balls got me really inspired on an idea for seeding rice long put on the back burner.
