Q: What does meditation and living soil have in common? A: OM 😂💚 organic matter and organic matters! 💚😂 I’m adding OM by hand — and om’ing while doing it — to our Kurapia ground cover. We planted plugs late last summer and then over winter it was dormant and the soil settled. A healthy layer of OM/compost will feed the soil, the Kurapia that’s waking up, and help level up the soil in low spots. By the end of summer, I’m expecting to see a fully green and covered area with no bare spots. Three cheers for OM!!! Who's doing soil wars this spring?

I'm needing the garden gurus! I just found ants in a raised beds. While its not many yet, I want them gone. We have fireants here and While they can be somewhat controlled, its absolutely impossible to eradicate them completely. This is my ashwagandha and next to the tulsi!

...So, based on observing how kittens have ruined some of my plants... ...Decided to place my indoor plants to other places, leaving four plants in a shady garage. Guess what? It didn't bother those kittens. They were okay with just few plants and didn't move. They just need shade to keep themselves away from heat.
