Lifestyle Assessment
When is the last time you did a true lifestyle assessment? Pause and really think about it. Consider the things you do every single day... the big commitments and the small tasks. The thoughts you entertain. The conversations you engage in. The environments you place yourself in. The people you surround yourself with. Now ask yourself: Do these align with what you say you want to accomplish? Do they contribute to your happiness, your health, and your overall quality of life? Even more importantly… are there habits, patterns, or relationships that clearly do NOT align with the future you’re trying to build? High-quality living does not happen by accident. It is the result of intentional choices repeated daily. When you live on autopilot, you often inherit routines, reactions, and environments that may no longer serve you. But here’s the empowering truth: You have the power to determine your Lifestyle. You have the power to adjust your habits. You have the power to change your direction. Awareness creates choice. Choice creates change. Do not just “live.” Live intentionally. Be honest. Be disciplined. Be intentional. Your lifestyle should reflect your goals, not work against them.

This is a good post. I like the question of do they align. @Brandon Young I love the journal mention. I keep a journal as well. Let me tell you this. It’s much cheaper than therapy!! The quote from your post KP: Awareness creates choice. Choice creates change. I really like this quote I actually will jot it down in my journal… the next step is trying to create more awareness and working at getting my life aligned !!
Yes, Boundaries Improve Wellness...
Not every argument deserves your energy. Not every invitation deserves your attendance. Mental wellness requires boundaries. Peace is not passive. It is protected through intentional decisions about who and what you allow into your life. SET BOUNDARIES.

This right here…. Why is it so hard to set boundaries?? I know we need them. Like you said peace is not passive… what are your thoughts about how to start building them or “ making the yard smaller” sort of speak …

I appreciate that. Life has been Bubba Gumping me. I know all the steps. Just running the play that’s the part I’m struggling with. I definitely like that part of writing down the boundary. Why it’s important.. and committing to the execution of the “ play “. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and expertise!!!
Dreams vs. Goals
Are your “goals” really goals… or are they just disguised dreams? The difference between dreams and goals is action. Dreams are ideas you talk about.Goals are commitments you schedule. Dreams sound like: “I want to get in shape.” “I want to start that business.” “I want to be more disciplined.” Goals sound like: “I will work out 4 days this week at 6 AM.” “I will outline my business plan by Friday.” “I will wake up at the same time every day for the next 30 days.” A dream becomes a goal the moment you attach: • A deadline • A measurable target • A consistent action plan Sounds like a lot of work right? It is. If it was easy, everyone would be wildly successful. The truth is, success is not reserved for the most talented. It is earned by the most committed. Are you committed to a goal? Or are you just dreaming?

Man this is a great post. Dreams vs. Goals that is always a great discussion and talking point. I was listening to James Clear a few weeks ago and he discusses this often. Putting “ pen to paper” is the way to go. He even breaks down those goals into even smaller chunks…. For instance the working out more.. he goes into it with start by doing 5 -10 pushups. His thought process is to “ become “ that person you desire to become. Again, I want to save more money. The classic 5 OFF is still a tried and true method !! JOS
