I just wanted to drop a little random thought post to the MentaLIFE community I hope the week was good, prosperous and fruitful. As I’m sitting here thinking about this post 2026 we’ve already finished about five weeks of the 2026 new year and we’re all about continuing to try to do and be the best we can so if you had goals that you’ve fallen off of our goals aren’t going according to plan. Take a few minutes. Stop recharge, and tweak the plan via finances, health and wellness or relationship relationships. And of course, we know the only two things we can control is your attitude and your effort, and if those things are constantly being remembered. Everything else will work itself out. Have a great weekend. Take care.
JOURNALING...
many years ago, I was much younger maybe 12 -13 years old I began to journal. This was a great process to get thoughts and ideas out. When I first started, it was a personal journal.. As I have gotten older, I still journal, now most of the time my journaling has random thoughts and Ideas. From dad jokes, to ACT type vocabulary to POI ( people of interest). I find things I want to learn more about and it goes in...Anything that I read, that stands out I will put in there. I will often think about a topic and do a little research and write this information down. I saw this post on Instagram that was called 30 Short Habits and a few of them were great points: 1- WRITE THINGS DOWN- OUR BRAINS ARE NOT FOR HAVING IDEAS NOT HOLDING THEM. 2- WRITE DOWN ANYTHING THAT RESONATES WITH YOU. It takes a few minutes each day to get into the groove- and before you know it you will have many pages completed. Take a few minutes today to get your journaling started!!!

Fitness Friday- Mindset
Your mindset influences how you care for your body. If movement feels like punishment, your mindset may be rooted in guilt or pressure. If rest feels unearned, your mindset may be tied to productivity instead of well-being. Physical wellness becomes sustainable when your mindset shifts from “I have to” to “I choose to.” When your thoughts align with self-respect rather than self-judgement, healthy habits become easier to maintain. Embrace a mindset of physical wellness. We only get one body, one vessel. It is our kingdom, but it depends on our willingness and actions to care for it. Happy Friday!

Mr. Pruitt. I really and truly appreciate all of the great support throughout the week. One body one vessel is so important… we all know this. We have a tough time making these transitions… getting there is so important!! Happy Friday as well. Today, I’m going to make a change to change my fitness level !! 🫡👍🏾
Mindset Monday
Mindset is more than a thought, it’s a pattern. It’s the running commentary in your mind that shapes how you interpret situations, people, stress, and even yourself. Many of us live on mental autopilot, repeating the same beliefs and reactions without questioning whether they serve us. Mental wellness begins when you slow down enough to notice how you think, not just what you think. Building a wellness mindset starts with awareness. Once you recognize your thought patterns, you gain the power to interrupt them and choose differently. Ever wondered why you think a certain way or why you do certain things? Explore your mindsets.

@Kelvin Pruitt @Lateresa Baker Great information about mindset. We get wrapped up in like Kelvin said “ I CAN’T “ do these things. With mindset it will start small… once your mind tells you hey you can do this… it becomes possible. Starting with a “ drip into your buckets”. It all it takes. Starting with a very small change of mindset… for instance I can’t save money. Years ago I had a philosophy that called 5 of the top, put it in a sock…. Each time I went to the grocery store I would get 5 dollars cash back to create a “ savings “ plan. Today you can make a small start to change your mindset…!!!
Saturday…
Saturdays can be what you make them. Today my wife and I made it a stress free Saturday…. We had lunch. Then we came home and just rested in the room and reflected on the week that past. So today, I’m going out with the whole stress free Saturday mentality. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!
