About "hustling" 🤬!
"Hustle was never meant to be a permanent state. It was a survival tool that has now expired." - Dr. Mariel Buqué This quote hit home... We've been sold hustle as an identity. As proof of worth. As the price of admission for anyone who wants to build something meaningful. But what if the very thing driving you is also draining you? Dr. Buqué, a psychologist and trauma expert, explains that for many of us, especially high achievers, children of immigrants, anyone who's had to prove their place—hustle wasn't a choice. It was protection. - Hustle kept us safe when we didn't feel "enough." - Hustle gave us control when life felt chaotic. - Hustle was the armour we put on so no one could see the soft spots underneath. And it worked. It got us here. But here's the catch: What once protected you now just weighs you down when there's no battle left to fight. If you're feeling: - Exhausted but unable to stop - Successful but empty - Driven but disconnected from why ...it might not be that you're doing something wrong. It might be that your survival tool has expired, and your nervous system is still running on emergency mode. The neuroscience? (My fav!) When we operate from survival hustle, we're stuck in sympathetic dominance (fight or flight). The brain perceives not hustling as a threat. So we keep running... even when no one's chasing us. The way out isn't more discipline. It's safety. It's letting your system know: You can rest now. You've already survived. Now it's time to build from wholeness, not from lack. I shared a little bit more of my story / about this topic HERE. So here's my question for you today: What would you build if you stopped building to prove you belong and started building from a place of already belonging? Are you already doing that? Drop a comment if this landed. 👇

I'm relentless. lol I'll NEVER hurry. That's when you make mistakes and don't set boundaries for oneself re: safety. I sit on my ass a lot. But when I'm *doing? I'm hustling.
The Science-Backed Reason Your "Plan B" Is Sabotaging Your Success
We've all heard the advice: "Have a backup plan." It sounds smart. It feels safe. But what if your "Plan B" is the very thing preventing Plan A from ever happening? Let's talk about the "Backup Plan Effect." Researchers found that merely thinking through a Plan B reduces the desire to achieve the primary goal. This lower motivation translates directly into less effort and poorer performance. Your brain, in seeking the safety net, unconsciously downgrades the importance of the main mission. As Will Smith famously put it: ⏰ "There's no reason to have a plan B because it distracts from plan A."⏰ When you split your focus, you split your energy. You train your brain that "good enough" or "another option" is acceptable. Ambition gets diluted. So,❓How to Fortify Your Focus... Rewire for Plan A 🥳 The antidote isn't recklessness; it's unwavering neural commitment. You must strengthen your "Plan A" neural pathways. This is done through visualization and implementation intentions... that is, creating specific "if-then" plans for obstacles. For example: "If I feel overwhelmed, then I will review my single priority for the day and complete just that." This practice activates your brain's premotor cortex, making the steps toward your goal feel more automatic and solid when challenges arise. You're not avoiding thoughts of difficulty; you're programming your response to it, keeping you LOCKED on the primary target. You are either building a pathway to your goal, or you're building an exit ramp. Your brain can't fully commit to both. ❓What is your non-negotiable, all-in, no-backup-exits PLAN A right now? Comment it below. Declare it.👇 (Inspired by research on the "backup plan effect" from the University of Pennsylvania and Stanford.)

I haven't read it in full but from what I gather it's about 'pivoting' plan A rather than try something 'different'. OK I read it my goal: Artistic license to do what I want to do creatively. Less boundaries, more choices regarding my expression. If cash comes of it great. Meanwhile? Shove, push, unrelentless desire for my Goal!
Sabrina says: Do Tik Tok!
Please watch the Youtube video for the full hands-on tutorial. (These are her words) 1. Why Tiktok? I agree with Gary Vee on this one… 🤡Tiktok remains the #1 social platform in the world and the only platform where A SINGLE post can dramatically transform your life/business overnight.🤡 It's also the best platform for new creators because you don't get punished for posting multiple times per day. This means you can post multiple times daily, collecting the data you need faster to iterate on what's working. TikTok teaches you how to be a good creator faster than if you were to start on other platforms. Because you get more reps in. More feedback, faster. So you can double down on what’s working. And Tiktok does not care how many current followers you have. Every single post gets a fair shot at virality, even if you have ZERO followers today. 2. Which AI Tool Should I Use? It does NOT matter which AI tool you use. There is no right one. Honestly, you don’t need AI when you’re just starting out. 🤡The most important thing is consistency over a long time horizon. I don’t want to recommend any specific AI tool and imply it guarantees success.🤡 In my YouTube tutorial, I’ll show you how to use ChatGPT for free to help write hooks and scripts. But it is NOT a magic bullet. You must still put in the work, lots of trial and error, pushing through moments of self-doubt. However, I assure you it is 1000% worth it. My background is tech and I laughed off “influencer” stuff for a long time. But I was wrong. Creating content is an incredible source of leverage (for my own projects) and an incredible opportunity to serve/teach millions of people around the world. 3. But what if my audience isn’t on TikTok? I still encourage starting with TikTok even if you don’t think your audience is on it because of question #1 one above. 🤡 TikTok teaches you to be a good content creator faster than any other platform.🤡With that said, you’re probably mistaken believing nobody in your audience is on TikTok.

Title: EPIC EXECUTION Introduction: How Confidence Actually Works Most people think confidence is something you get first… then you act. That’s backwards. Confidence is something you build after action, when you collect evidence that you can do hard things. During the pandemic, a Spanish-speaking couple hired me, out of no where, to plan and decorate their wedding. It was a last minute wedding. A “small wedding” .. I mean they spent around $70,000 it was on a beautiful estate/golf club, is that small? Full coordination: vendors, timeline, decor planning & pressure, every last details.. I did everything. Here’s what’s wild: I hadn’t fully proven to myself how fluent my Spanish was. I could speak, sure. But “I can speak” is different from “I can lead a high-stakes event in Spanish and execute under pressure.” Dealing with the Bride!! and their parents in 100% Spanish etc. They eventually ended up thinking that I was Dominican. I’m not. I’m from Montréal. My first language is French. My parents are Haitian, so I learned Haitian Creole. I moved to Ontario and learned English. Spanish came later. All this to say that doing this wedding forced an identity shift: I am the kind of person who follows through. I didn’t “feel confident” first. I did the work and confidence showed up as a receipt. That is the energy of this book. If you’re an ambitious over-thinker trying to start a business, you don’t need another quote. You don’t need another course to collect. You don’t need clarity before you begin. You need an execution system that makes taking ACTION inevitable, so you can build one real offer validated by real humans, not gut feelings. That’s what you’re doing in the next 7 days. Chapter 1: The Contrarian Truth Here’s what I believe: I believe ambitious over-thinkers who want profit and freedom should design an execution system that makes action inevitable, not wait for motivation or clarity first. (more later maybe).. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This speaks to success more than those know. When Yoda tells Luke "Do you think size matters"? The only way a toddler learns to walk is falling 50x before there first 3 steps. From taking a step *back...we may intuit that our success is not predicated on running, but the sincere desire to do...and the rest will follow.

@Lydie Molina Hi Lydie. I've been working but actually I'd call it playing. When one realizes that through time management, that *everything they do* is a step towards self manifestation. The choice is clear. So lately I've been clarifying my steps, networking, preproduction, doing the WORK required to create product/value. In a word "not bad" I like your e-book idea a ton.

I’m building cinematic machinima inside Elder Scrolls Online—treating the game like a real studio lot with rules, history, and living lore—because this medium can do things traditional film and typical game content can’t. My edge is craft plus canon: I direct with a filmmaker’s eye while doing surgical lore grounding (not rewrites) so big story swings still feel undeniably Elder Scrolls. And I’m not chasing transactional sponsorships; I’m proposing collaborations—a machinima creative division powered by passionate creators—that helps legacy worlds expand on-screen with stories players can feel, not just watch.
