The Missed Call Reality Check
When it comes to home services, missing 1 in 3 calls is normal. Industry data across Service Titan, Jobber, and Housecall Pro points to 27 to 35 percent of inbound calls going unanswered. That is paid traffic leaking. If their average job is $5k and you close warm inbound at 60 percent, every missed call is $3k walking away. Three missed calls a week is $400K a year. Imagine the impact it would have if you were to break down the math to your client on a call. What do you think their response to you would be?

Here to share ideas
YouTube is a competitive platform, so it has its own challenges. For me, the hardest part is script writing and keeping the content ideas flowing. I’m in the history niche, so there’s a lot of research involved, too. By the way, which niche are you interested in getting into?

CRM thoughts?
I see a lot of potential helping businesses connect virtual assistants (Synthflow) to CRMs. Hubspot seems to be a really popular and easy-to-use choice, with reasonable costs for small business. Zoho suite is also quite comprehensive (so many modules) and I like the a la carte structure where you can buy specific functions/tools. Are there other CRMs that you've used either for your own agency or for clients? What specific benefits made you choose them?

I am currently using high level. What they built is all you need to build a great business. We are also working on our own tech stack.

What’s good everyone, Jason here. I am super excited to be part of this community! I came across Kevin while searching Synthflow on YouTube, and after watching Kevins home service video and his other videos, I was hooked. Like Kevin who spent some time in California, I spent most of my life on the west coast. I worked in Silicon Valley with a bunch of startups while running my own networking businesses. From the days of MS-DOS, Checkpoint firewalls, Windows NT to now the cloud boom with AWS and Google Cloud, I’ve always loved using tech to build things that actually make a difference. It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. I went through the dot-com crash and the 2008 real estate collapse — lost a lot, but never gave up. Kevin’s mindset video really hit home for me, especially when he talked about what he went through and being scammed. Been there too. At the end of it all, I’ve learned you must bet on yourself. You make your own luck, but having a solid mentor and community around you makes a huge difference. That’s why I’m all in with Kevin and everyone here. I really believe we can help save a ton of local businesses — just by building Conversational AI Voice Systems that make a difference for those who put trust in us. For some we are the last hope before they have to close the doors. Outside of tech, I had an auto restyling shop and spent over 15 years coaching baseball — won a lot championships, took my share of losses. Sports taught me valuable lesson is learn from your losses and always get back up and work harder the next 24 hours. Time is our biggest commodity! In 2021, I left California and spent a year and a half driving across the country to Florida. That trip changed everything for me. My favorite place I went to was Roswell New Mexico. I saw lots of Aliens. No Joke. The whole town is themed like you are in a science fiction movie. I eventually stopped in a tiny town of eight people where all of them owned the Dairy Queen, and the mayor cooked my food. That moment reminded me that people everywhere are Just trying to make it.
