Where I'd Like to Take This Community
My vision for what I want to build both with this community and with my business is pretty simple. To help other founders avoid all the pitfalls/mistakes I made in my first two businesses. To share with you what I've learned through nearly $100k I've spent on leadership training (but for WAY less). But, I also love learning from others and have a lot of areas that I'm not strong in. So, with that...let me say this: I want to make this an actual community, where we all help each other. My plan and my challenge: - MY PLAN: Re-organize this community to give you EXACTLY what you need at each stage of the entrepreneurial journey (I am committed to doing this by the end of February - now you know and can hold me accountable 😉) and I'll give you the roadmap on when and how to use it - MY CHALLENGE: Share what you know, your own advice, your journey and what you've learned. I believe that learning is best when it's not in the drowning vacuum of one person's voice. (Plus, I started my first business in 2015...so much has changed. Sold the second in 2023 and started this one in 2024. It's been a learning curve, especially on selling and marketing.) My commitment to you is to give you foundational tools to build your $1M+ business and learn how to lead like a CEO. My question is...can you help me? Tell me what works and what doesn't? Share your own stories?

I love that you shared your vision! Super powerful!
One of our wins!
One of the significant wins we've experienced in the past few weeks is that Christi recommended we clarify some details on our website regarding our products. That one adjustment has substantially increased our minimum orders, making a huge difference in our day-to-day operations. It’s just one of the many successes we've had this past year, and it happened just last week.
Defining Your Main Goal
A lot of very smart people set goals that look like this: - $100k/month MRR - $5M annual revenue - 42% gross margin These are 100% performance metrics worth tracking...but they shouldn’t be how you define your main goal. When you make the metric the main goal, you risk driving the wrong kind of performance. You’ll sign the wrong clients. (Sales for sales sake) You’ll sacrifice the wrong parts of your service just to save a dime. (Failure to define, productize and systemize your CX) Often, you’ll end up inadvertently rewarding the wrong types of behaviors. Metrics are useful, but they measure progress, not purpose. If your goal is to create freedom, elevate your business or your client experience, and lean into the role of CEO (not just doer of all the things), then the focus has to be on the outcome you actually want to create — not just the number that measures it. Real growth isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing the right things better. So, how do you define your “main thing”? P.S. I've got something big coming to help you reach those goals... and get you out of what my husband and I call the 'Bathroom to Boardroom' phase.

Oct. Mastermind
Happy new week everyone! As we wind down on 2025, it means 2026 is quickly approaching. Most of my 1:1 clients are quickly prepping for big growth and in November we put the final touches on their big plans for 2026. A little backstory here...in my first business, I tried to go it solo. And the truth is It cost me. Big time. That’s why I’ve had a coach or accountability group for years — someone who can see the blind spots I can’t when I’m deep in the weeds. (And it's why I love Skool so much - we can find this right in here!) As founders, we often struggle to see the forest for the trees in our own business. I can't effectively do for myself what I do for so many others. It's just difficult for me to be that objective. And honestly, many founders avoid setting goals - typically because of one of the four reasons listed below: 💡 Accountability — once it’s written down, you can’t hide. 💡 Clarity — clarity forces trade-offs. 💡 Change — new goals require growth, systems, and people. 💡 Failure — if you don’t define success, you can’t fail. But sometimes, it's also because they just don't know where or how to start. Let's change that! This is the focus of the Mastermind on Oct. 24th. Please put it on your calendar and make it if possible. I want you to head into 2026 with some BIG goals and knowing how to measure your progress so you can update and pivot as needed. Looking forward to seeing you there!
