Oregano
Oregano: History and Benefits An Exploration of a Timeless Herb that is known as pizza spice Oregano is a popular herb well-known for its robust flavor and aromatic qualities. Widely used in Mediterranean and Mexican cuisines, oregano has both culinary and medicinal significance. This document explores the rich history and numerous benefits of oregano. It is also interesting to notice. The use of oregano dates back thousands of years. Ancient Greeks and Romans revered oregano as a symbol of joy and happiness. Its name is derived from the Greek words "oros" (mountain) and "ganos" (joy), meaning "joy of the mountain." Oregano was often used in ancient wedding ceremonies and as a medicinal remedy for various ailments. In Roman times, oregano was valued for its ability to preserve and flavor food. During the Middle Ages, it spread throughout Europe and became a staple in culinary traditions. Oregano gained popularity in the United States after World War II, when soldiers returned from Italy with a newfound appreciation for this flavorful herb. Health Benefits of Oregano 🌿 Rich in Antioxidants: Oregano contains powerful antioxidants, such as thymol and carvacrol, which help protect the body from damage caused by free radicals. 🌿 Anti-inflammatory Properties: The compounds in oregano may help reduce inflammation, making it beneficial for conditions like arthritis and muscle pain. 🌿 Antibacterial and Antifungal Effects: Oregano oil is well-known for its ability to fight bacteria and fungi and is sometimes used to treat infections. 🌿 Digestive Health: Oregano supports digestion by stimulating bile flow and aiding in the breakdown of food. 🌿 Immune System Support: Regular consumption of oregano may help boost the immune system and defend against common illnesses. 🌿 Potential Cancer-Fighting Properties: Preliminary studies suggest that oregano's active compounds may have cancer-preventive effects, though more research is needed in this area. Oregano is a super versatile herb! Here are its top uses:

I infuse my avocado oil with Mexican oregano and use it daily in cooking. I do not strain, just pour it in an leave until oil is gone.

@Amy Rickman I use Mexican oregano cut leaf herb, about a cup to a 1/2 gallon avocado oil... just pour it in and then agitate it a bit before use if I want whole herb in the food or pour off top if jus want flavored oil... still get a little but not as much. Need to agitate every so often anyway just to keep mixed.

Bluetooth Devices
A landmark study published in Scientific Reports in 2024 found that people who used Bluetooth headsets for longer daily durations were more likely to have thyroid nodules compared to those who used them infrequently or not at all. This association remained even after adjusting for other factors like age and lifestyle, and was especially notable in individuals who used in-ear Bluetooth devices, which sit directly next to the thyroid region. Even though Bluetooth devices emit non-ionizing radiofrequency (RF) radiation, which is much lower energy than ionizing radiation (like X-rays) and doesn’t break DNA bonds directly, the thyroid is anatomically close to typical headset placement (near-ear, neck region) and is a gland known to be sensitive to electromagnetic exposures. A literature review on mobile phone RF exposure and thyroid health found altered hormone levels and histopathologic changes in animal models exposed to RF fields. (PMID: 34567874) Potential mechanisms: - RF radiation can trigger cell-stress responses in thyroid tissue: upregulating heat-shock proteins (HSPs), altering gene expression, affecting calcitonin/C-cell activity. - Reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation in thyroid follicular cells or C-cells, leading to inflammation. - Disruption of the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid axis, perhaps via altered receptor signaling or impairment of cellular repair processes. - Cumulative exposure effect, where everyday low-level RF over years gradually affects tissue vulnerability. Some considerations:🎧🎧🎧 - If you use Bluetooth earbuds/headsets for extended hours every day (especially in-ear style), consider switching to wired headphones. - Take phone calls through speaker mode or use wired headphones with a built-in microphone - Keep your phone off your body whenever possible, avoid carrying it in your bra or near your neck, since even idle devices emit intermittent RF pulses. - Ground daily. Walking barefoot or using a grounding mat helps discharge accumulated electromagnetic charge and can stabilize cortisol rhythms.

Turmeric
Turmeric is one of the most powerful natural supports for detox, inflammation, and overall wellness. 💛🧡 Its active compound, curcumin, helps protect the liver, calms inflammation, supports balanced mood, and boosts antioxidant activity. It’s also one of the superstar ingredients in MOA, Partner Co’s superblend of herbs and nutrients — one of the reasons it’s such a powerhouse for daily wellness. 🌱💧 Adding black pepper to turmeric is a must — it boosts absorption by up to 2,000% so your body actually gets the full benefit. 🌿✨ Quick kitchen tip: Buy fresh turmeric and ginger roots, freeze them, and grate what you need into your meals. This makes it so easy, lasts forever, and adds amazing flavor. I use turmeric root in Asian dishes and soups and powdered turmeric on eggs, sweet and regular potoatoes or roasted veggies (olive oil + salt + pepper + garlic powder at 350 = perfection). 🍳🥕🔥 If you want recipes or more detox ideas, comment below! 🌼 To learn more about MOA that is wonderful for inflammation and brain health that has 36 ingredients including healing turmeric: https://checkout.partner.co/s/ODQ1ZDQ1Mzlk
