Launching my Second Community
Friday last week was a big day ... our second community launch day! It's been nearly 8 months of back and forth convos, building and growing but now we're live. Taking in nearly $1400 on day 1, we hope this is just the beginning. We're not short on traffic, over 1450 hits, but trying to work on the conversion rate ... always learning and testing new ideas. I'm genuinely so happy with it as our client is such a great guy and an absolute expert in his niche. Really excited to see where this community goes and the relationships I and my client can build in there. I'll make sure to share any and all successes. James.

@Johannes M I only build communities for influencers. The main leverage is the followership the influencers have.
What's Your Non-Skool Goal for This Week?
Hello all, Sometimes it's easy to get so caught up building communities in Skool (because it's a great platform, duh) and neglect other things in life outside of MRR lol. So, my question is I'd love to hear one thing you want to get out of this week that's totally unrelated to Skool. For me, I have a rugby game on Saturday and I'd like to play the full 80 mins. I only played 40 mins last week because I got really bad cramp. I've been doing some training so hopefully I'm in better condition to play the full game. That would be a good outcome for me this week. Let's hear what your goals are this week!!

Building My Second Community
Hey all, I'm super close to launching my second community with my second client and I've found one thing to have been super useful which is contrary to popular belief... My client has over 2m followers on social media so fingers crossed we can really help him connect to his followers more ... particularly that loyal top 1% Now, as mentioned, one of the best things I've found to do is to give him plenty of space, contacting him as infrequently as possible. It's assumed that you should maintain daily contact with clients to show you're eager and passionate. But at the end of the day, he's a busy guy, a professional chef, with a business and a young family. I have to ensure my contact with him is minimal but effective, to allow him to get about his daily business. It's the most respectful thing to do for him and doesn't waste anyones time. Don't get me wrong, I make sure he's got everything he needs and I'm always available for him, but I'm not putting any unnecessary pressure on him. The last thing he needs is me chewing his ear off everyday whilst he has his own life... What do you guys think of this and how do you go about contacting your clients? Best, James.

Managing Skool and Full Time Work ...?
Hello all, It's a lovely Autumn day here in London and I've been very hands on with our golfing client today. Helping him clear out lots of stuff that happened in the community over the last week or so. It helped a lot that I prepped everything over the weekend so going into work it's an easier ride for myself. I've drafted him a bunch of posts to put in his community and calculated the winner of a really big prize draw he did following the Ryder Cup weekend. Some lucky members winning prizes worth £500 (~$600). I did all that yesterday so I could send it first thing this morning and be available to him throughout the day when it's convenient for him. He's obviously a really busy guy as he coaches in person full time so that's why he really enjoys what I do for him. I'd love to know how are you guys managing to balance your time on Skool if you're working full time jobs? Love to hear your thoughts and share some efficiency hacks! James.

Gamification is a Game Changer 🧨
Hello all, Gamification has massively improved the community we run for an influencer. Here's why: Firstly, let me describe gamification - It's essentially, creating competitions between the members within the community. Make sense? The reason why it's been so advantageous for us is that it's getting the engagement of all the members up. This in turn pushes us higher up the discovery page and thus gets more eyeballs on the community. it's the positive multiplier effect. Additionally, by having more active and engaged members, they're more likely to refer the community to their mates, attracting more members etc. Finally, because the 2 competitions we're running will last all summer, the members are invcentivised to stay in the community, reducing the churn! Here's the trick - you've got to make sure the prizes up for grabs are something the members so eagerly desire! For example, because we run a golf community for a PGA pro, the prize is being able to win a round of golf with him at a top 100 UK championship course (usually worth £300+). This is such a good incentive for the members and they're loving it so far! I couldn't recommend gamification enough! If you have any ideas for gamification for your community, share them down below 👇 Equally, if you want to know the specifics of the competitions I run, then shoot me a message and I'll share them with you!
