How much does it cost you on average to hire a video editor?
I’m curious about how much it costs you on average to hire a video editor to edit your long-form videos. I want to make a plan to free up more of my time so I can create more content. I want to know how much it would cost me to hire a video editor to do basic editing with some animations on a long-form video that’s about ten minutes long. So, how much do you guys pay, and do you recommend someone? I’m not earning too much right now, so I’m looking for an affordable option. Thank you!
Affiliate - How does it work?
I am setting up my skool community right now and I noticed that we can't turn our affiliate link on unless we pay the $99 a month. I'm wondering if others invite people to my community do they still get connected for affiliate payout later, if I start paying the $99 a month after I get paid members? I want to work with other people in my group so I was hoping to pitch the affiliate commission to work with me.
Coaches, how are you running your funnels?
Hey Fellow Community builders! I'm trying to get some clarity on my funnel and I'm hoping this will help other people with theirs. I'm an artist development coach - I help aspiring songwriters get off the fence and back in the game with their music. Many of these folks let music slip into the background but deeply want to reconnect with it again, so I help them with accountability, finishing and recording songs, and helping them connect to an audience. My main top-of-funnel activity is creating YouTube videos where I mention that I'm a coach, and encourage them to book a free 30-minute discovery call with me to see if we'd be a fit to work together. I'd also like to have a low-ticket Skool community as well for anyone who doesn't want to pay for higher-ticket 1-on-1 coaching but still wants to connect to a community. I've gone through the material in the Classroom here, but I haven't found anything specific that talks about the nuts and bolts of dialing in your funnel/process, particularly if you're a coach. Ideally, I want a really simple, clear game plan, from producing content, booking calls, and having a Skool community fallback for people who aren't ready to commit to 1-on-1 coaching. I'd love to hear from other people in the coaching (or related) field and how they are running and managing their funnels, and the kinds of results they're having. For anyone else reading, feel free to share your thoughts and critiques of my plan. I am new to this and want to learn as much as possible. All comments welcome! Thanks for reading, Dave
How a tiny change built more loyalty in my store community.
We tested something small; instead of just selling, we asked our customers for feedback on what they wanted next. It shifted everything. People stopped seeing it as "just a store" and started seeing it as "their brand." That's when I realized: The more you make people feel like they belong, the stronger the community gets. Question: How do you make your community members feel like they own a piece of it?
