How are you letting the land rest within yourself?
Reflecting on Earth Day this past Sunday! ❤️ I’ve been sitting with this question after reading it from Sarah-Biome Collective App from the Farmers Footprint) 🌻 How are you letting the land rest within yourself? For me, it’s been about allowing. Allowing the earth to exist without trying to change it. Allowing things to move through their natural cycles, the same way my body wants to. Not rushing growth. Not resisting the slower seasons. Not forcing something to bloom when it’s meant to rest. I’m learning to trust that there is a rhythm here…one that doesn’t need me to control it, only to listen. | The practice that has been working for me ❤️| And what keeps coming up… is how I’m learning to listen to my own voice again. I’ve been recording little voice memos—not to be perfect, Just to be with myself. There was a time I didn’t recognize my own voice or didn’t love it. So hearing myself now… gently, honestly…it feels like coming home in small ways. I take moments throughout the day to step outside, to lay down, to let my body sink into the earth.🌎 Just five minutes. No doing. No fixing. No becoming. Just resting. I’ve even been using these little reminder cards a friend gave me— playful, a little strange…frogs in heels, in different poses, all reminding me in their own way You’re allowed to pause. You’re allowed to soften. You’re allowed to exist without needing to do anything at all. And in those moments, I can feel something reset. Like the land inside me is finally getting the rest it’s been asking for. What does rest look like for you lately?🌿✨
