One of the most important things, I'd say Intention and Process are the 2 most important things overall though An intention to truly help clients no matter your normal disposition or attitude and the process to be able to actually help them Attitude helps with most things in life but someone can have a bad or messed up attitude but with still having the right intentions and then process can still get amazing results and help people
Understanding Our Mind - Wonderful Tool For Coaches
"Understanding Our Mind" by Thich Nhat Hanh, a finalist for the 2001 Nautilus Award, delves into psychological insights with profound implications for the modern world. For coaches, this book offers invaluable guidance that can significantly enhance their practice in several key areas, without explicitly focusing on its Buddhist roots. Here's how: ### 1. **Enhancing Emotional Intelligence** The book provides deep insights into understanding one's own mind and emotions, which is essential for coaches. By mastering emotional intelligence, coaches can better manage their reactions and maintain a supportive, empathetic, and effective relationship with their clients. ### 2. **Developing Mindfulness Practices** Thich Nhat Hanh is renowned for his teachings on mindfulness. Coaches can learn techniques to cultivate mindfulness, which they can then teach to their clients to improve focus, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. ### 3. **Improving Communication Skills** Understanding and being mindful of one's own mind and emotions can significantly improve how a coach communicates. This book can help coaches learn to listen deeply and speak with compassion, fostering a more open and trusting coaching environment. ### 4. **Promoting Self-awareness and Personal Growth** The book encourages a deep exploration of one’s inner workings, leading to greater self-awareness and personal growth. Coaches who undertake this journey themselves are better equipped to guide their clients through similar processes of self-discovery and development. ### 5. **Supporting Mental Health and Well-being** The teachings emphasize compassion and understanding towards oneself and others. Coaches can apply these principles to support clients facing challenges, helping them develop resilience and a more positive outlook on life. ### 6. **Enhancing Problem-solving Skills** By understanding the principles of psychology presented in the book, coaches can adopt a more holistic and mindful approach to problem-solving. This can lead to more creative and effective solutions for the challenges their clients face.

There are few communities available for coaches and consultants That provides real value and most are just spam communities. . . Day in and day out my ads get bombarded with negative comments about coaching I get tired of people commenting negative things. how all coaches just want to make money etc Coaching is a scam etc Making money is not why I decided to become a coach. There is nothing wrong with making money from coaching However, if it is the most important factor to you as a coach You are most likely going to fail. . . Money is a by-product of being an amazing coach. Money is a by-product of being able to create amazing transformations with clients The truth is most coaches/consultants are just not that good at the skill of coaching

Anyone else shifting beliefs?
I'm enjoying engaging in the community, which I noticed is beginning to transform "What if i can't show up", an old belief thats been preventing from taking my coaching to the next level. I feel empowered whenever I write a comment now. Has anyone else experienced this? Or noticed other beliefs that have shifted through being in this community? Thank you all for being here.
