I wasn't gonna share this-- Let me just clarify something, first: I DID NOT USE & THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH USE🙅‍♂️🚫 _ But yes—I am going through a trying situation. And here’s WHY I’m sharing this today... So often, when life squeezes us, the world assumes we’ll fall back into old cycles—addiction, anger, silence, self-destruction. HEALING, however, has taught me this: Detachment isn’t about numbing or running away. Detachment is about standing firm in the storm, refusing to let external chaos dictate internal collapse. _ 👉 Day 15 of the Detachment Practice reminds us: you can observe your triggers without becoming them. For me, that includes triggers tied to my past, including some that most men never speak about: sexual exploitation and trauma. It’s uncomfortable. It’s heavy. But it’s real. And if I don’t voice it, it stays buried. Too many brothers carry wounds in silence. We’re told to “man up.” We’re told our pain doesn’t matter. We’re told that admitting we were violated somehow makes us “less of a man.” _ Here’s the truth: There’s nothing stronger than a man who can look his pain in the face and still choose life, healing, and growth. And I share this because I believe we need MORE spaces where men can acknowledge their trauma without shame. 🛡️Where we can reclaim our power, detach from the lies that we’re broken beyond repair, and anchor into the truth that our scars are proof of survival—not evidence of weakness. Today’s practice isn’t just about letting go of toxic attachments. It’s about calling back your power. It’s about remembering that you are not what happened to you—you are who you decide to become in response to it. So if you’re reading this and you’ve been holding onto something unspeakable, brother— know this: You’re not alone. Your story still matters. And your healing is possible. 🕊️ Detachment isn’t escape. It’s empowerment. It’s freedom.

Level 9
What a pleasant (and unexpected) surprise to wake up to find I reached Level 9 (apparently it’s so easy you can do it in your sleep 😂) A very special Thank You to all the people who have encouraged, supported and helped me achieve this milestone… @Martha Acevedo @Dr. Tammy Stapp @Stephanie McKay @Diana Frank @Marcel Verhorstert I know I’ve forgotten some but I’ll add their names as they remind me 😂. Most of all, Thank You @Ed J C Smith for creating this incredible community! The sheer numbers of lives you have, and will positively affect with your program, Coaches and Coachees alike, is staggering. And now for coffee and answering the over 300 messages I also received overnight. Thank You All…Have an awesome day. Chuck
