We just dropped a gentle 10-minute hip-opening practice inside the YT channel — and it’s such a nourishing way to return to your body. Just breath, space, and remembering. Especially if you’re Vata-prone (or just living in cold weather), your hips are likely holding a lot. Ooh… thank you for this @Amrita Ma Devi 🙏 I’m more Vata so this is ideal…. No wonder I feel the cold a lot more and currently have lower back issues 🤔
🌹 Love Note for the Month: Being Seen & Being Authentic
Beloved sister, As we enter this new season together, I want to gently offer the theme that will guide us through the next two months: Being Seen. And Being Authentic. In a way that feels safe in your body — rooted, soft, and true. Have any of you started your Abyangha practise? The self-massage with either sesame, almond, or castor oil. If you are not already, when you try abhyanga (self-oil massage) this month, I invite you to do it in front of a mirror. Gently rub the oil into your skin. Look at the body as don´t rush past this part, say softly to yourself: “I see you. You are safe. You are already enough.” Let this be a sacred return. Not just a routine — but a ritual to come home to yourself. A remembering. Because being seen starts with how we see ourselves. You don’t have to share before you’re ready. Just stay curious. I would love to do this practice, however it’s super cold in the house to be naked for that long without heating 😆 Do you have heating at your place?
