The chance to be the best, especially if you believe in yourself. What a lucky place to be in. I kind of secretly love the challenge, in the most uncomfortable way possible. I mean business is competitive. Sports are competitive. And it should feel like it. If it wasn't a challenge, I mean... how much value could there really be in what we're doing? So, maybe not the perfect mental frame to make everything feel fine and dandy, but maybe just the thing you need to pick yourself off the ground and get to work. The best mental frames don't make the anxiety or fear leave, they just make it possible to move forward. And hopefully move forward quickly.
