Thoughts on author partnership
Not related to emails, but I think there are people in this group who've written books, so figured I'd ask. What are your thoughts on partnering with authors specifically for a fixed sum of money? Kind of like newsletter ads, but can be sponsored content across websites (book reviews, author interviews, inclusion in some type of list), social media mentions, and newsletter mentions, too... I haven't really seen authors do this except for going on podcasts... And I don't think those are paid (I could be wrong?) Anyway... is this a good or a bad idea?

I know Travis sells bonus chapters in his books.
The one thing you could get rid of for success?
What's the one thing that, if you could get rid of it, would catapult you to success in the next 90 days? I asked myself this question yesterday. As usual, I didn't have a good answer. So I made a list of 10 possible answers (actually ended up 11). I personally found some interesting stuff at points 9 and 11: #9. Lack of focus on the things that have made me money, and doing more of that, instead of experimenting with new things all the time #11. Lack of followup with people who have expressed interest in an outcome What's your one thing (or 11), that, if you could get rid of it, would catapult you to success in the next 90 days?

For me the one thing would be the gap between knowing what to do and doing it at the moment it needs doing.
Opt-In Critique
Am I writing too much for my opt-in? I've seen the other opt-in pages here and it's a lot simplistic, brief and to the point. I'm just a content creator who happened to stumble into the world of daily emailing, so any advice is appreciated :)

Yes it's too long for an opt-in page but the bigger issue is the copy is doing too much explaining and not enough feeling. The headline is actually solid. "Exposes the hidden fears and limiting beliefs secretly controlling your life" creates genuine curiosity and speaks to a real pain. Everything after it loses momentum because you're explaining the mechanism instead of deepening the desire or the pain. People opt in when they feel understood not when they understand the product. A tighter version would be headline, two to three sentences that make someone feel deeply seen, and the button. That's it. Something like: headline, then "Most people spend their whole life reacting to fears they never even named. This workbook helps you see exactly what's been running the show. Takes 20 minutes. Free." Then button.
[Critique Request] Newsletter Hitlists Sales Page
So, I've built a new tool that helps you find relevant newsletters in your niche to run ads or do JVs with. I wrote a draft sales page today and I'd love some feedback on it. It's a hefty page so obviously you dont have to read it all if you don't want to. Reading just the lead is perfectly fine. Here's the doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ZRg3FI_sPYa8Cel1sss5O9jnZ0JhMjLpbAVZUj0kZ8Q/edit?usp=sharing

The core concept is genuinely useful and the problem identification is strong. Newsletter advertising being powerful but tedious to research is real and you articulate it well. The math section where you break down 238 newsletters, 10% usable, 24 placements, one per two weeks, covered for a year is genuinely compelling. That's the section that should be much earlier. What needs work. The lead is too slow. "Finally a better way for coaches course creators and email list owners to grow their list fast with high quality buyers by getting their very own" is twelve words before you say anything. Cut it to the problem and the promise in two sentences. The formatting works against you in places. The HARDEST BEST EASIEST headline with all caps underlines feels like it's trying too hard. The insight is strong enough that it doesn't need the visual shouting. The ending "if you can't understand the value I can't help you bruv" is a risky tone closer. It works for some audiences and alienates others. Know your buyer before you keep it. P.S. Let me know how can I buy it.
What have you gotten good at in the last few months?
... and by "good" I don't mean "the best" or even "great." For example, over the past few months I've gotten good at networking. It's not like I'm some monster networker with incredible charm and millions of contacts. But I reach out to people, I get on calls, I join mixers, and I follow up. Results have followed. I've also gotten good at creating offer stacks. Meaning, creating logical and yet attractive offers, either by breaking things up or by adding in stuff in or both. Again, I'm not like I'm Travis Sago or Alex Hormozi. But compared to were I was, and compared to people I know, I've gotten good. What have you gotten good at? Take a moment. Write down an idea, or better yet 10. The reason is simple: What you're good at is stuff that has value, stuff that you can teach or do for others, stuff that people will pay for. (Curious fact for long-term Bejako readers: asking myself this exact question is how I ended up creating my Most Valuable Email program.) So take a moment now and figure out what you've gotten good at. And if you like, share your list below.
