Today is our last day of de-cluttering and we're going to tackle a part of the house that I find needs the most de-cluttering the most often... the closet. So, pick a closet in your house, empty it, reorganize and put everything back away. Toss out anything that you no longer need or haven't used in over a year. The first stops for de-cluttering the home should be high traffic areas. Why? Those are the areas that tend to affect us the most (and often are the most cluttered anyways). and if you're anything like me, you probably spend half the day in the kitchen! 👉 So, today, pick a part of the kitchen to de-clutter! It doesn't HAVE to be the whole kitchen (although kudos to you if you want to take that on), but find a portion of the kitchen that needs the most TLC. It could be: 🍉 the fridge 🍉 the counter tops 🍉 the top cabinets 🍉 the bottom cabinets 🍉 could be the kitchen table or any combination of the above. How did you feel when you looked at your desk before getting started? Frustrated. Overwhelmed. Annoyed. Distracted. How difficult was this task? Took 5 minutes and my daughter did the majority of it! How did you feel when you looked at your desk afterwards? Peace. Calm. Happy…except the surrounding area is bad so that makes me frustrated. Surrounded by clutter! Can you make this a regular thing? Definitely gonna try! Can’t stand this clutter!
