FEEL BEHIND? THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Quick truth: there is no "behind" in this challenge. That's a story your brain made up the moment you missed a session. And I get it. We are world class at turning one missed day into a full identity crisis. "I always do this." "I never finish anything." "Why did I even sign up." Breathe. The challenge is not a train you missed. It's a room. And the room is open until Tuesday. Five sessions of 30 minutes. You don't need five days for that. You need one weekend and a brain like ours. We don't do "a little bit every day". We do all of it, at once, when it finally matters. Let it matter. Almost everyone misses a day. The people with the big transformations? They missed days too. Felt the shame. Came back anyway. That's the rep that rewires you. Every time you quit something before, you taught your nervous system "we don't finish things." This weekend you teach it the opposite. One honest thing: I don't yet know when I run this again. If I do, it won't be this group, this week, and it might not be fully free again... So here's the whole task. Open the classroom. Press play on the next session. Answer the three questions. Repeat until your report shows up. ▶️ https://www.skool.com/adhd/classroom That report is the deepest thing you'll read about yourself this year. Don't leave it sitting there. And Tuesday is for everyone. Five days done, two days, zero days. Reinvent Your ADHD Life is where I put the whole week into one picture, announce the $2,000 in prizes live, and give everyone in the room lots of value for FREE. If life happened and you did nothing, be there anyway. That's the one thing I'm asking. 📅 Tuesday 8 September, 18:00 CEST 👉 https://www.skool.com/adhd/calendar?eid=98e07cd8498742339830a0a2cd715ed0 You're not behind. You're exactly where the comeback starts. And if you're on track: Day 5 is the one where you get your report. Live at 18:00 CEST · 17:00 UK · 12:00pm ET · 9:00am PT · 02:00 Sat AEST. Can't make it? The replay is up right after.

Done
No surprises
The good thing I do is a definite morning routine, takes less than 10 minutes but its a reliable start to the day. Then the day gets mushy, lacking purpose, drive, accomplishment. I think it's a big deal when I pay the rent, do laundry, wash dishes. I'm pretty sure I'm capable of more, but the road from here to there isn't apparent.

I can relate to this. I have a good morning routine. It's strongly tied to my going to work deadline. When that deadline isn't there it definitely gets a bit mushy
Day 5 done!!!
I have really enjoyed this challenge and found Jim's twin extremely insightful. For me my big take away was my brain's need for a deadline and without one it just waits for a command until eventually it wanders off and makes itself coffee. Unfortunately my brain needs the deadline to come from someone else. Going forward I will be interested in how I can manufacture my own effective deadlines as starting pistols. I also enjoy how wellness affecting behaviour which has pushed me to look at my sleep pattern which I've been aware have been pretty shocking for some time. Last night I put the phone to one side and watched a movie. Normally I'd scroll and watch the movie with one eye. It wasn't that great a movie but I consciously left the phone. The film finishing was it's own deadline to go to bed. I was in bed at 11 which may still be late but is 3 hrs better than the previous night. Also no caffeine after lunch but I missed the act of drinking coffee later on so I'm buying some decaff today. It is lurking in my head that this is someone else's system and my brain does like to discard other people's habits after a week to move onto another shiny new thing but I feel that sleep is an important thing to try and sort out. I'm glad that I saw through the challenge. It's been great. Thank you Jim

How long before going to bed should screens be switched off?

Dishes
Today I piled (lol) my dishes beside the sink in neat order so they can be washed. Silverware are in the sink ready to for the next step. Plates will be after that then the bowls and finally the pots and pan. All neatly ready to go. The most dreaded thing i dispise in the world and I did it!!

@Phyllis Evans my mum made me buy a dishwasher when I got the kitchen done as she was sick of looking at piles of dishes. Didn't entirely help as it turn out you can procrastinate over that too
