I'm excited about this one!
Videos or stills?
On the surface I'd assume videos have an advantage over stills but of course they take longer to produce. I shoot ads with my camera for my clients yet my ads aren't showing me the results I necessarily want. Maybe that has something to do with our $10 a day budget but I'm not sure. Help!

Hey @Jack Imrie! We ran both video ads and image ads and both did great. For sure $10 is not helping. Just as a point of reference, FB considers $100/day to be a small budget. We typically told our clients to run at about $40/day in 2020. Now, I'd probably recommend $50/day with Andromeda updates. You need to give it a big enough budget to optimize your ads.

@Jack Imrie It's weird if they don't understand why. A lot of people will make the assumption that you're just trying to take their money. If you help them explain (in the most simple way possible) the why, typically people understand. You need to build value first as well when selling something. If there's enough value, typically this conversation wasn't super hard. It was a matter of "Here's the requirements to use our system. If you can't do this, we can't work with you". Also one thing to look at that A LOT of people miss, if this is a theme within your customer base - are you working with the right people? $40/day was not a big deal to our clients because we were generating leads that they were turning into $3k clients. Are you working with new business owners? Are you working with people who only have $500 before they go broke, and it's up to you to bail them out? OR are you working with people who have a team, spent money on their product/office/clinic/etc? and are looking to grow? You can ask qualifying questions to help you find the right people to work with, and this question becomes a non-issue.
HELP ON WORDING
Has anyone here successfully run Meta or TikTok ads for handmade knives? Our business + personal pages were restricted—likely because of wording/images. We make artisan kitchen and utility knives (no violence or self-defense claims). What I’m looking for: - Compliant ad copy examples (what phrasing passed review) - Image do’s/don’ts (what got approved vs. flagged) - Targeting/placements that worked for you - Appeal steps if your page/ad was mistakenly flagged Bonus: I’m also launching a high-ticket “Dog Grooming at Home” course (previously $15k in-person; now moving online). Any proven funnel/ad tips or pricing validation ideas are welcome. Thank you! Examples/templates would be amazing. 🙏 And yes AI done this post AI is great I think. Have a birthday. To everyone. Is to her some sleep, I know that. I need SELLS

Hey @Serena HENRyDingus! I found this GPT from a fella on Youtube. It's a FB compliancy GPT. You can upload images or ad copy and ask it if FB would flag anything. Just know that it's very sensitive, meaning, that it might over-react about your copy and images. It definitely errs on the side of caution: https://chatgpt.com/g/g-67c57de7a18c8191babb80ba2f3863c9-meta-ads-compliance-checker

Building Out a Library for My First Ads Customer
Below is the feedback from the customer of what kind of fb ads he wants created. What is the best way to create the ads using Uppie AI? Here’s a few that I believe we can give a shot. Most Attractive Social Media Offer Ideas for FCF 1. “Holiday-Ready Home Refresh” Offer Hook: “Make your home holiday-ready — 15% off any exterior repaint booked before Dec 15!” Why it works: Taps into emotion (hosting family, pride in appearance) and urgency (limited time). Add-on incentive: Free color consultation ($250 value). Bonus angle: “We’ll handle everything — from color matching to final cleanup, so you can enjoy the season stress-free.” ⸻ 2. “Free Color Consultation + Paint Upgrade” Hook: “Book your 2025 repaint now and get a complimentary color design session + premium paint upgrade.” Why it works: It feels luxury — not cheap. The offer adds value, not discounts. Position it as: “Our Sherwin Williams Premium Finish Package, at no extra cost — for a flawless, lasting look.” ⸻ 3. “Confidence Guarantee” Hook: “If you’re not 100% thrilled with your finish, we’ll make it right — guaranteed.” Why it works: Most homeowners fear poor results. You remove that risk, showing confidence in your craftsmanship. Pair with: Before/after video reels, customer testimonial clips, or your spotless jobsite cleanup process. ⸻ 4. “Refer a Neighbor” Program Hook: “Your neighborhood deserves a refresh — refer a neighbor and you BOTH save $250.” Why it works: Creates community buzz and spreads through HOAs or track homes. Tip: Use carousel graphics showing side-by-side homes — “Imagine your block looking this good!” ⸻ 5. “Spring 2025 VIP Priority List” Hook: “Skip the spring rush — get VIP scheduling for our most requested season.” Why it works: High-end clients value convenience and exclusivity. Bonus: Include a “Priority Color Selection” consultation as part of the package. ⸻ 6. “Cabinet Transformation Special” Hook: “Get a luxury kitchen look — without the remodel. Save $500 on full cabinet refinishing.”

Hey @Shaun Gambardella! When you already have the offer you'll want to use the "create custom ad without guidance". This is for people who have offers already, but want Uppie to build out the entire ad based on your offer. Let me know if you get stuck!

@Shaun Gambardella Thanks for hopping on my Monday call! Let me know if you get stuck anywhere else.
