Running Shoe Resource
https://www.doctorsofrunning.com/ In my opinion, this is the best way to find a shoe that works for you. Now is the time of year where they do the "best of" series, so if you are in the market, I would recommend starting here. If you know you like a certain type of shoe, they have a similar shoe note on each profile. From there, I would strongly recommend going to a running store that has the shoe to try it on or making sure that you have a good return policy with online orders. I have had several shoes where everything indicated I "should" like it and absolutely hated the shoe. If you dive into this a little bit, you will start to understand why I don't like to give my opinion on "good" shoes for people to run in

Thorne Supplement Discount
Hey everyone! I have a discount set up with Thorne and wanted to pass it along to the group. This isn’t a code so if you’re interested, DM me your email address and I’ll manually add you to the list. Just a heads up: I haven’t had the best luck getting this to work for overseas clients, but I’m happy to try!

TTT Gameday Fueling Guide
Hi everyone! I’m Haley, part of the TTT Nutrition team. I wanted to share this resource here so you can come back to it anytime you need clarity on how to fuel during competition. Game-day nutrition is one of the biggest places athletes lose performance without realizing it, and this guide was built to make that part simple. This manual walks you through the basics of what to eat, when to eat, and why those choices matter when stress is high and events are stacked close together. It covers how to manage carbs, protein, hydration, and digestion so you can stay consistent across a full day of competing. You don’t need to memorize every detail, you just need a plan you’ve practiced. Use this guide to build a fueling strategy that fits your body, your event schedule, and what you can tolerate between workouts. Read it, test it ahead of time, and make adjustments so you’re not guessing on competition day. If you’re competing, this is a resource you’ll rely on more than once. Let me know if you have questions or want help tailoring it to your schedule.
Welcome to The Ruth Performance Lab!
I’ve created this as a community for athletes and coaches in the competitive fitness space to learn and collaborate. I’ll be sharing deep dives of training concepts, program design breakdowns, and inviting subject matter experts in everything from mental performance training and nutrition to niche topics like breathing and BFR. What to expect here: For my individual coaching clients: 1. Weekly Office Hours starting the first week after Thanksgiving 2. A full library of all Office Hours recordings 3. A resource library for everything training and performance related from the Competitors Manual, travel guidelines, pacing breakdowns, to nutrition and supplement guides. For everyone else: 1. Training education, system breakdowns, and long-form posts. 2. A place to ask questions and learn alongside other serious athletes and coaches. Thanks for being here, I’m excited to grow this alongside you!
