Letting Go
Eating for Fitness seems to be a full time job…hahaha. But one I love. Today, it’s Bacon Spam, with a Maple Syrup and Sea Salt drizzle. With a side of three Asian diced scrambled eggs. As I celebrate the continuing loss of body fat and muscle gains, I felt impressed to treat the rest of my life in similar fashion. Letting go and learning how to celebrate that, isn’t as easy as letting go of body fat. But we can do it. Good morning my loves❤️

Letting Go
Just Give Me 5 minutes
People seem surprised, when I tell them I’m 69. And I accept there are reasons that I do look younger than most men my age. One of the reasons, is that I’ve always had a targeted accomplishment to work towards. One year, it was taking first place in the Highland Games (you know, the Scottish games where we toss around heavy things like telephone poles…lol). The key to accomplishing that was 1. Training with great coaches and other athletes. 2. A specific date. Which was easy, because the Highland Games that are actually called The Highland Games (because of the city that hosts them), is always scheduled a year ahead. The added benefit was that I got to meet a whole new community of people that not only cheered me on; but they were also willing victims for my awful grandpa jokes. Okay, maybe more kind than willing…lol. I want to suggest having a reason for working out. More than the, “I want to look good “ reason. Something more specific. Now, it could be “I want to fit into a size “X” outfit to look good for my reunion, or an upcoming wedding”. I have an overarching goal of setting records in the 50M and 100M (maybe, even the Long Jump. I am still a bit delusional 😊). I have a shorter term goal of being ready for the upcoming ski season. Having accountability partners is also a great aid in accomplishing your goals. That’s what makes the VIP option of Group Coaching so valuable. You have three other people who are there to cheer you on, encourage you, and inspire you. Lastly (today), the strategy of “Just Give Me Five Minutes”, is a powerful way to keep yourself moving forward on days when you just don’t feel super motivated. Tomorrow, together, we’ll take away any potential for guilt or thinking you’re just not good enough, or the thoughts of “I guess I just didn’t want it bad enough”, by talking a little about the Accomplishment Equation.

Sweating feels good
Okay, not always…hahaha. I mean, when I’m working on business projects, I don’t like sweating. So I have learned, and teach, how to use my best characteristics; and just go with the flow. Yes, that is a reference to flow theory; but it might also be associated with my beach boy upbringing 😎. But, when I’m exercising, I love working out hard enough to sweat. N’est ce pa? (Okay, full disclosure, Dutch is my original language. And while I’ve learnt to speak skillfully in a few languages, French isn’t one of them. But, I’m still learning 😊).

Senior Athlete?
You don’t need to be a competitive athlete, or even a senior. The plans available here are meant to be adaptive. Even if you’ve haven’t worked out for some time, we can adapt. And that’s a core principle of my Achievement Coaching, based on the Accomplishment Equation. As any of my past clients will tell you, we begin with discovering what’s relevant about YOU, and what’s relevant to YOU. It’s that simple. As I become more clear on what you want, and why it’s important to you, our sessions together will become more productive. I can’t wait to hear from you. I’m available at (385) 419-0405 Wishing you all of the best that you desire 😊 Coach Frits

Senior Athlete?
“Well. That didn’t work.Now What?”
We have all been there,. at least those of us who are consistently looking for results. We don’t know everything. As Gary Coleman responded, “We don’t know!!” An example of the continuing need to monitor and adapt is that,, because of added workload, my workuot schedulle is requiring changes. I can become frustrated with tthat , or I can adapt, and carry on. I adapt, by looking for areas that can I move my time resource from. As we are guided by our Accomplishment Equation. This is a low cost, low risk opportunity to experience my approach to Executive Coaching/Accomplishment Coaching/ADHD/Executine Functioning Coaching. Seesh, all of those words boil down to Coaching that aids you in accomplishing what’s important to you. By learning how to stop creating a world based on the world around. But rather, by creating a world around who you are. I am not a licensed Therapist. I am part Effective Artistry’s Clinical Therapy practice. And as such, I can refer you to Licensed Therapist (if you live in IL, or WI). Otherwise, I and other Coaches in our practice can help you anywhere in the world, virtually. As far as answering the question in the heading, we will explore together, and discoveer what wil work for you. Until we have conversations, I don’t know what will work for you specifically. But, I’m ready to listen and eplore options. But it all starts with me, clearly, understanding you. Let’s talk. (801) 456-1486
