Sedimentary Work Solutions
I work in Corporate America from home in an online capacity, with my full-time job (i.e., desk job), my part-time job as an adjunct professor, and as Founder & CEO of my technology company. I find that I'm sitting at my desk for long stretches, with little time to get away. I have a Versa desk that can go up and down, but that still doesn't move the needle when it comes to getting in activity and exercise. I have decided to get a set of dumbbells and one of those hydraulic arm exerciser trainers as supplements to sitting for long periods (i.e., 6-10 hours). I am also getting some ankle weights to use for leg exercises while sitting at my desk. Anyone out there in the same predicament? If so, what are you doing to get involved in movement/activity when you are glued to your desk for hours on end?

Interesting post and poll. I too am at the desk long stretches but I get my workouts early at 5 am then take an hour to go on a long walk out in the sun for a break. I guess I have not tried things like dumbbells at the desk between breaks. I rarely do pushups which would work well. Let’s get more people to vote and comment on this!!
Watson Training Academy Update: New Structure + Your First Step
Over the past few weeks we’ve been rebuilding the Watson Training Academy to create a more focused environment for growth, discipline, and real transformation. The goal of this community has always been simple: To build disciplined men who take ownership of their lives. To support that mission, the academy has been reorganized into a clearer structure moving forward. Inside the community you’ll now see dedicated sections for: • Introductions so members can connect • Daily check-ins to build accountability • Wins and progress to track transformation • Challenges that push discipline and growth • Training drops and announcements from Jason This community is designed to be a place where men don’t just consume information, but actually apply what they learn and grow together. Your first step Every member should begin by completing the Life Audit. This assessment will help my team and I evaluate where you currently stand in key areas of life including: • Discipline • Mindset • Relationships • Business • Direction Complete the Life Audit here: https://forms.gle/2e1jizBoP6uoMeKm9 After completing the audit, head over to the Introduce Yourself section and share: • Where you’re from • What area of life you’re working to improve • What your biggest challenge is right now Over the coming weeks we’ll also be rolling out the next evolution of the academy, including expanded training, deeper implementation systems, and a structured membership model for those who want to go further. For now, focus on the fundamentals. Complete the Life Audit. Introduce yourself. Start engaging. Let’s build. — Jason

Love it! The engagement has dropped for sure. Let’s get active in here 🔥
Introduction
Hi everyone, I am Fabrizio, Italian, spent 1/3 of my life abroad and currently living in Germany... On the outside my life seems good, but in the reality I went to a downward spiral in the last few years, not enjoying my job, the country where I am in, and so on (just to give you an example, I opened my own company, money were there from day 0, but to pay myself the first salary I had to wait 7 months due beurocracy, all this time I was living, and keeping my family, with my savings)... So, recently I decided to use this negativity and transform it in positive stuff, started to workout again with KB as my goal is to get back in shape by 40's (I am 38 now).

Welcome Alexander! I’m building my own coaching company, while also working in high ticket tech sales for a large corporation. My passion is teaching and training others and so I’m looking to transition asap.
Greetings...
Hello everyone. I'm Dr. Jeffrey L. Edwards, but most people just call me Jeff. I've been part of the group for roughly a month, and thus far it's been 🔥. It's just what I've needed to get out of being stuck in what I call 'comfort' and 'complacency'. From the outside, I seem successful. I'm a C-Level Executive at the Bank, where I work as an FTE. Educationally, I have a Doctorate degree, 2 Master's degrees, and a Bachelor's degree. I'm certified in a number of business and technology areas, including a Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF) and the Certified Six Sigma Black Belt designation. I am also an entrepreneur with a startup technology company focused on risk management, implementing a risk quantification methodology that I developed. As a result, I am in the process of obtaining 11 patents for the Intellectual Property associated with the methodology and technology. It hasn't all been a bed of roses. In 2021, I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of bladder cancer. As a result, I had a radical cystectomy and 8 hour surgical procedure to create a neobladder called an Indiana Pouch. Recuperation took 6 months, and as a result, my new normal is that I have to manually empty my bladder via a catheter every 4 hours around the clock, day and night. So I can only sleep in increments of 4 hours. I say all of this not to get any sympathy, but just the opposite, to show that you can accomplish many things if you set your mind to it, have faith, and execute on the plan. With all this going on, I still feel like I can do more and have yet to tap into my full potential. That's one of the main reasons that I joined this group. I was impressed with Jason and the caliber of individuals that he has been able to amass as part of his Academy. Iron Sharpens Iron. So I'm looking forward to getting more involved in the group because that's going to help me sharpen those dull edges, create a new normal, set new standards for myself, and achieve more in all facets of my life.

Jeff! Welcome, and man thanks for sharing all that. Not all would have the courage on post 1 to share the difficult pieces of life. Thanks for the inspiration brother! 💪🏼
