Pi Day Curiosity Post
Today is Pi Day (3.14), celebrating the mathematical constant π connected to circles. Full transparency - math has never really been my thing. I tend to get lost in it pretty quickly. 😄 So I asked ChatGPT whether Pi Day could have any connection to spirituality. The interesting piece was this: π is an infinite number that never repeats, and it exists because of the circle. Across many cultures, the circle has symbolized unity, wholeness, cycles of life, and eternity. It made me wonder about the bigger picture… the patterns in nature, sacred geometry, and the possibility that math is one of the languages describing how the universe is structured. (I hate math but love patterns and nature for sure - so do I really hate math or just don’t understand it?) Since math is definitely outside my wheelhouse, I’m curious to hear from others on this topic and feel free to teach me more about Pi! Have you ever come across connections between math, sacred geometry, nature, or spirituality?

@Jennie Sikes I was going to say the nautilus shell is a perfect example of the Fibonacci sequence. I love nautilus shells!

I used to love math. I was the geek that really enjoyed doing geometry and trig proofs… I just took an astrology 101 class today and loved it because she presented all the repeating patterns. There is a math to it, but I’m still geeking out on the patterns.
Nature’s funny…
…I went to make some lunch and while it was heating up, I went to the window to enjoy the snow fall. It was literally 75-80 degrees earlier this week and here we are… snow. 😂 I looked a little further in and heard bird song… the puffy finch was waiting his turn to enjoy bird seed. #animalhellos #Nature Break

Same here! Yesterday I was in shorts enjoying beautiful (early) spring weather by the water. Earlier this afternoon, it was snowing. And now, the sun is out and the skies are clear. You think Mother Nature is gaslighting us?
Happy National Napping Day!
Wish I knew sooner… I would have scheduled it in my afternoon agenda! 😂 😴 Did you take your nap today?

No nap for me. And I remember when I was a kid my parents and teachers had to fight me to get me to sleep. If I could go back in time and talk to that little girl…

@Stephanie Pick oh but it’s so entertaining! Think of it as 16th century reality TV. Though I guess that’s not very respectful of the folks who actually lived it. 🤔

@Stephanie Pick and if you were talking about the hurricanes, well… every fall I go to the outer banks with my family, and every year, beginning in September, without fail, I’m watching the tropical waves in the Atlantic and biting my nails.

I think I have the opposite of seasonal affective disorder. I get sad when the weather gets warmer and the days get longer. I’m definitely a fall-winter type of gal.
