Hi everyone, my name is Jason. I’m 44 and from Ontario, Canada. I spent 26 years working as a chef before my life took a very different turn. I’ve been sober for seven years now and I also run a sobriety community where I support people on their journey. My spiritual awakening really kicked in a few years ago when I finally quit smoking pot. It hit fast and furious. Everything came at me all at once and it was a lot to navigate, but it also opened the door to a much deeper level of awareness. I started a meditation practice when I first quit drinking fifteen years ago. Back then it was just a tool to help me deal with stress and anxiety. Over time it became a spiritual practice and unlocked something within me that I didn’t even know was there. After doing a lot of inner work and letting my life recalibrate, things have levelled out in a powerful way. I eventually walked away from my chef career and now I’m following my purpose of helping others on their path of healing, growth, and self discovery. Looking forward to being part of this group and connecting with people who are on a similar wavelength.
