Yet another "where did this come from" moment for me. Nice review! I've been looking for a NAS solution for a minute and have been living in a cave for awhile it seems. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Off down the rabbit hole we go. ๐Ÿคฃ Thanks for this one!

Hi Felix! Great to connect with you as well. I'm pivoting this year to a new field. So, far it looks like DevOps, but I'm open to what falls into place as I ramp down from my previous projects and find new ones. Like a gentle crossfade from deck 1 to deck 2. ๐ŸŽงWhat about you?
Howdy
Howdy folks, I'm a long time Linux and labber from Amsterdam. I'm self-hosting a free Oracle VM (24GB, ARM, repo: https://github.com/ams0/cloudlab), plus a talos cluster at home. Now working on a containerized Openstack deployment: https://github.com/ams0/openstack-native

Nice! I'm just getting started with Talos. Nice to already find some good resources. Cheers.
hello everyone
Hi, I am very happy to be part of this community. By trade, I am a software developer working in Level 2 industry automation. At home, I take care of the small network, as my family rents apartments during summer. 4โ€“5 PCs are running 24/7 in my basement where I host my 2 software solutions for private use, NAS and VMware server where I run VMs on which I develop/maintain software for my automation job. I am always looking to improve my hardware and software, especially now as I took the photographer route and attending the school for graphic design. Usually I build my rigs from second hard hardware, mostly purchased from ebay.com. The image shows my small x270 with web front end of my production software - custom built for my tourism. In the center is my VM server (xfce ubuntu linux) acting - for now - as a photo editing rig (accessed via RDP) and on the right side is my (native ubuntu linux) asp.net core development PC (accessed via RDP). By the end of next week, I am expecting parts for my graphics and printing workstation to arrive. -o- I have a lot of plans for my home setup. I want to move all my machines to debian (12), now I have only 2 machines running it. There is a mikrotik router on my network and I would like to have a bit more control of the network traffic. In rare occasions, tourists come and start torrenting - throttling the network. I want to have dedicated DNS server, build software RAID 1 fields (now I use rsync scripts in cron). And more.

Nice! I'm going the opposite direction. Media production & design for years, now diving deeper into these side of engineering. Illustrator was my second brain for so long. Affinity saved me from Adobe bloat & constant telemetry (until they merge with Canva - free is good, but they try to fix what wasn't broken). Looking forward to following you and learning from your journey Srecko. Cheers!
Docker Tools for the Homelab
Here are a couple of docker tools that would be great for the homelab. Rackula - Drag and drop rack visualizer. https://github.com/RackulaLives/Rackula If you like using docker compose for running docker containers, here a great tool for building the docker compose files and save them as templates. Dock-Dploy - A web-based tool for building, managing, and converting Docker Compose files, configuration files, and schedulers. https://github.com/hhftechnology/Dock-Dploy
