I would like to upload my first video and finally I created some thumbnails that I like. Now I have a problem that I can’t choose. Could you help me? My channel is about gluten and dairy free baking/cooking and it is not faceless. I am teaching people how to transform from gluten eating to a gluten free diet.

I'm about to start a channel on topics like simple living and slow living, and how to simplify your life. I'm Danish, and thereby I like to speak in Danish bcs its much easier for me to because it is easier for me to talk more nuanced and deeply about a subject because my vocabulary is much larger in Danish than it is in English. Although my English is actually good. Maybe even really well, but I can't get the depth I want in my words....or maybe its just my ego that speaks here ;-) AND maybe all this is just my limited belief that stops me. But my idea is to make the videos with Danish speech and then with English subtitles. And I see there are many English speakers here in this community - will it be OK for you to read subtitles???? I may also have a belief that the audience in Denmark is too small for my subject, so if I brought an English-speaking audience with me, my opportunities to make a business out of it would be much greater. I am very confused and frustrated so please give me some guidance and help on this topic.<3 <3 <3

WARNING for depressing energy. I fell into the dark emotionhole today. In my country (sweden) it is absolutley impossible to try to earn some money yourself, unless you had a lot of it from the start or a job already. I am on financial support from the governement and have been for years. I have chronic migraines so no one wants to hire me ( trust me I am applying for lots if jobs every month so lets NOT go there pls). I am trying to find other ways to earn income. But, as soon as you go out there with the intention to earn money, they pull the financial support alltogether. Even if you dont get any income, only the intention is enough... This is so depressing, it shackles you even before you can do anything. So, if I wanted to commit to a channel and try to make it monetized enough to live on... I would already lost my house and everything before that could happen. My husbands income is not enough to even pay the bills so that is not an option. I guess I have to make due with just showing my art for the audience... but that takes all the motivation and excitement out of it! Ok, I' d love to inspire others to be creative too of course. But one has too live too. I don't know how to get out if this dark rutt... I am allowed to sell paintings if someone sees one they like, but not to advertise... I can't have an etsy shop or simular for prints, that is to advertise... Ok so I have to grow my channel to be seen then, I guess. But not enough to make any money at all... Hmm ok it feels a little bit better now. Thank you for baring with me if you made it to here 🥰 (I have no one eller to talk to about these things). Anyone else that have these obstacles from doing anything?

So I have been applying what I have learned from @Alexa Saarenoja in the last few days. My video views have been quite low since I got back to the USA . Part of it was me, trying to find my feet again but part of iet was seasonal. (I find my views go down in summer) . So I did my research, focused on my title and thumbnail and posted it yesterday and went to sleep. And this morning I woke up to it having double the views, a 5.3 click through rate and good watch time. Oh and 30 new subscribers.
